Have any "Dry Bones" in your life.
Ezekiel chapter 37 speaks about a valley of dry bones.
God took Ezekiel to see a valley of dry bones. They weren't just bones, but DRY bones, they'd been disjointed and scattered. A mess.
He asked Ezekiel if they could live. Ezekiel was taken back and answered God that He knew.
God gave him instructions:
1. To command the bones to hear the Word of God.
2. To command sinews and flesh upon them.
Ezekiel prophesied as he was instructed.
He heard a great noise and suddenly a rattling, and the bones came together bone to bone, then the sinews and flesh came to them but they had not breath....then God told Ezekiel to prophecy for breath to come from the four winds to breathe on the slain that they may live.
So Ezekiel did what he was told, and they lived and stood upon their feet, and were an exceedingly great army.
I've got dead, dry bones in my life that I'm prophesying to. Not prophesying MY WORDS, but GOD'S WORD.
I'm WATCHING God bring them together and bring LIFE INTO THEM ALL. It's not anything that I can do, but it's HIS WORD that is making the difference.
Father, I ask YOU to HELP US....help us to call upon Your Word...it's the ONLY thing that can bring LIFE into our lives. Everything that satan has produced, YOU know how to deliver us from. Anything that he has tried to "tag" us with, YOU have given us the hope and promise of Your Word to bring us not only salvation, but deliverance and wholeness in our lives. I trust YOU, I trust Your Word, and it's power it has to make a difference in my life. Thank You for making provision FOR US. You've not missed anything. Thank You for strengthening us to receive Your Word, and helping us to trust it. Helping us to trust YOU. YOU are our GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD, and there is NOTHING too difficult for You. Your ear is not deaf and Your arm is not short. YOU have given us a hope and a future. Thank You for bringing the dry bones in our lives YOUR LIFE. In Jesus' Name.

God is Always Ready.....
Jeremiah 1:12
Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."
The notations in my New Spirit Filled Life Bible says:
Word Wealth
ready, shaqad (shah-kahd), Strong's #8245: Watching, walking, hastening, anticipating; to be sleepless, alert, vigilant; on the lookout; to care for watchfully. This verb occurs 12 times, including Psalm 127:1: "Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain." In Jeremiah 31:28, God promises to watch over His people with an intent to build and to plant. The present reference may best be understood by noting the linguistic connection between "waking" (shaqad) and "almond" (shaqed) in Hebrew. The almond is considered the "waker" in blossoms early, watching diligently for the opportunity to bloom. Thus, in vv. 11, 12, the linking of the vision of an almond branch and its interpretation is clear.
Father, I thank YOU that You are always ready to honor Your Word.
Thank You that You HELP US to look to You, trust You and Your Word...and Your willingness to HONOR what You've told us. In Jesus' Name.

Kaa and Mowgli - Trust In Me
Remember in the movie "Jungle Book", the large python, Kaa, was singing to Mowgli "Trust In Me"? He was mesmerizing Mowgli, licking his chops, expecting a nice meal.
Ahhhh, which character was it that saved Mowgli? :)
Well, this morning, while I was putting my make up on, I found myself swaying from side to side and began singing "Trust In Me." Isn't that funny? LOL
While thinking about that wicked python doing what he did best, I was equating him to satan...how he works with deception to put us to SLEEP, make a meal out of us and be the killer, stealer, and destroyer that he IS, and has been since the beginning of time.
In James 1:15 we're told:
14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
There's a progression here.
The desires in our own life we are enticed with.
The desire is conceived.
The desire gives birth to sin.
Sin when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Doesn't happen just lickety-split. All the while that snake, satan, is swaying back and forth mesmerizing us, and attempting to put us to sleep to desires that do not belong to us, sin, and death.
In Hebrews 3:12, 13 we're encouraged with:
12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,
15 while it is said:
"Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.
I see here:
Unbelief produces an evil heart.
That an evil heart of unbelief will put distance between us and God.
Sin is conceived here.
Sin produces deception.
Our hearts can be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
We are partakers of Christ IF we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end of our lives.
None of us desire to be enshrouded in deceit.
If we have unconfessed sin, it will serve to eventually bring deceit into our lives and then harden our hearts.
GOOD GRIEF!!! WHO WANTS THAT?????
I SAY WAKEUP - EVERYONE OF US
I Corinthians 15:34 tells us:
34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
Romans 13:11-14
11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
I Thessalonians 5:4-6
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
Isaiah 52:1
1 Awake, awake!
Put on your strength, O Zion;
Put on your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city!
Ephesians 5:14
14 Therefore He says:
"Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light."
II Timothy 2:22-26
22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,
25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Colossians 3:1
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
John 8:12
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
If any of us find ourselves compromised by sin, and who of us have not, all we need to do is confess before the Lord and He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We will not be plagued by the deceitfulness of sin. We will not be mesmerized by the trickery of hell.
Father, I thank YOU that Your Son said HE is the Light of the world, and those of us who follow Him will not walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life. You have brought us out of the kingdom of darkness into YOUR Kingdom of Light. I decree that we will not be mesmerized by satan with the deceitfulness of sin. I declare that each of us will WAKE UP!! Thank You for HELPING US to walk out on the devil and clothe ourselves with Christ, in Jesus' Name.

JUNE Recipe Swap Box
The first Thursday of every month is The Recipe Box Swap. It is hosted by Randi, at i have to say. If you have a blog and would like to participate, post a recipe on your blog; then go to Randi's Mr. Linky (at the bottom her Thursday Recipe Box Swap post) and add your name, the title of your recipe, and the URL of your recipe post.
Renna, at Finding My Knitch said she was sort of cheating this month. LOL Well, I've made use of Pioneer Womans Sherried Tomato Soup several times this Spring and it has already earned a permanent place as one of our family favorites.
The only thing I have changed, because the cooking sherry is already salty, is to change the butter in the recipe to unsalted butter, and quite possibly reduce the amount of sherry to your own taste.
This soup is FULL of flavor, and you will NOT be satisfied with just one serving. :)
I serve this with homemade bread, and this meal leaves you wanting for nothing when leaving the table.
