Enough Time?

I've heard folks say that they don't have time to spend before the Lord, to make Him first in their lives...including myself, from time to time. But, God has given us just enough time to do everything He's called us to do. Including having a relationship with Him.

While listening to a person the other day about the "difficulty" having a "relationship" with the Lord. You know, getting before Him, spending time with Him, and listening to Him. Blah, Blah, Blah......and some say they'd have to quit their jobs to have a relationship with God. Well, we have a relationship with our spouses and children and don't have to quit our "jobs" for that.

I began to see that we give the devil so much of our time. What we put our eyes, hands, ears and feet to....if it's BEFORE we put any of our time before the Lord, it makes them FIRST in our life, not the Lord.

Matthew 6:33 tells us that we're to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Rightousness and all we have need of will be ours.

Time is of the essence.

Father, I ask You to HELP US to put You first in our lives, and to KNOW when we are not. Show us all how simple it is, Lord. In Jesus' Name.
