No Murmuring Allowed

While I was reading this evening I came across

NKJV I Cor. 10:10 that says: nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

KJV says:  Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

To murmur according to Greek in Strongs Concordance means: murmur say anything against in a low tone, of those that confer secretly together, of those who discontentedly complain..

Psalm 106:21-27 tells us this:

²¹ They forgot God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

²² Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

²³ Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

²⁴ Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

²⁵ But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

²⁶ Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

²⁷ To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

In this account in Psalm, the people had forgotten their Savior, God, and all He’d done for them.  God had determined to destroy them, but Moses interceded on their behalf.  Their lives had deteriorated to the point of murmuring and complaining in their homes and would not listen to the voice of the Lord to them.  It’s a dangerous place for any of us to be in.  Having an unthankful heart will lead us to forget all God has done for us and then, just like in I Corinthians 10:10 it says, they were destroyed by the destroyer

Something about us is always destroyed when we murmur – it may be fellowship or communion with God; it may be health and strength and joy – something will surely be destroyed, for God said so.

They would not listen to the voice of the Lord to them.  Are we listening to the voice of God to us, in our spirit and through His Word?  WE MUST take what He says to heart and not only listen but DO what He says to each of us.  Simple really….Listen and Do, Listen and Do, Listen and Do.

Philippians 2:1-16 has this to say: 

¹⁴ Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

¹⁵ That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

¹⁶ Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Father, HELP us to always have a thankful heart towards You, that we NOT forget all You have done for us.  We purpose not to give place to the destroyer to destroy any part of our lives. Father nobody has a better idea than You, and the sooner that we understand that, the sooner we will be able to cut off access the devil would have in our lives and that of our families.  Thank You for Your mercy towards us. We WILL offer You praise for all You are, for all You have done for us, for all the strength You give us to DO as You lead us - We choose NOT to murmur and complain, In Jesus' Name.

Lester Sumrall's 7 Troubling Prophecies Over America

Lester Sumrall went home to be with the Lord in 1996, but his legacy continues—and his God-breathed prophetic words are still alive.

In this 1987 video Mr. Sumrall, whose spiritual father was Smith Wigglesworth, shares seven prophetic insights God revealed to his heart, earlier in his walk with the Lord. I wish they weren't accurate, but it seems he heard rightly. You can watch the video to see all the warnings. 

What our obligation is now, as it has always been, is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all we can. We're charged to live right in God's eyes, according to His Word, and be prepared for the Catching Away (Rapture) of His people.  In the Bible we are told of the parable of the 10 Virgins, that 5 were wise, and 5 were foolish.Virgins in Matthew 25.
The 5 wise Virgins had lived diligently and prepared their lives to meet the Bridegroom, and the 5 foolish ones did not.  God has already told us in His Word - Hebrews 12:14 - Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing...If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." - John 15:4, 5, 7

It was Pentecost Sunday, and I felt a tender touch of the Holy Spirit. Call it a tap on the shoulder. A whisper. He seemed to speak quietly to me, nudging me to avert a recurring danger. It's the danger of becoming so caught up in prayer warfare and faith's pursuits that I neglect simply "being with Jesus."

At the same time in which He calls His disciples His "friends," Jesus says to them, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you" (John 15). If you abide in Me... It's so simple. So clear.

First and foremost, Jesus wants us to experience, sustain and enjoy a personal, intimate walk with Him. It isn't that He's disinterested in the demands of our daily duty or the pressures of our private world. Far from it. He just knows that the fountainhead of life is with Him. He is the Source of everything: strength for your day, wisdom for your task, comfort for your soul, grace for your battle, provision for every need, understanding for each failure. Assistance for all we encounter. Everything.

So today I invite you to come before Him with an open heart and in childlike simplicity. Come with plain talk. With laughter or tears. Come. On your knees, alone, without fanfare, with all candor.

I write these things because I became so concerned in my prayers for "the work of ministry" that I began to feel something of His divine jealousy. He was saying to me, "I want you more than I want your work." My calendar was so full, the agenda so packed, the opportunities so many, the need so great ... that I began to feel crushed in spirit, the same way pressure wilts a flower. So the Holy Spirit tapped me on the shoulder to slow my mind and redirect my gaze.

Today I am praying for you and with you. There are indeed great ministry opportunities before each one of us. These are days of opening doors. And yes, the needs have never been "needier." But before we move together on all that, we are wise if, alone and apart from one another, each one of us moves to another place: That is, in intimate fellowship, alone with Jesus.

He wants that for us. And when you think about it, nothing of eternal value occurs in your life without it.

Some years ago, a local television reporter asked me by telephone to state my position on astrology, "as a Christian and as pastor of one of Los Angeles' well-known churches."

That conversation reminded me of the necessity for everyone to have a basic understanding of the subject, hence:

1) The Bible not only rejects but condemns astrology. Isaiah 47:12-15 should be read carefully. The concluding words of warning regarding the person committed to astrology and related occult practices make clear that confusion is the inevitable lot of such a person and tragic, eternal loss the final price.

2) The supposition that the wisemen (magi), who found the young Christ as the result of astrological pursuits, somehow supports the practice of astrology by reason of their inclusion in the Bible story, is a groundless one. They only evidence how God meets earnest hearts where they are, and if they honestly are searching for Him, He'll see that they get there. But please notice: the whole story in Matthew 2 notes that (a) it took the revelation of the Word of God to finalize their quest and (b) their quest wasn't final until they found the Son of God.

3) The danger of astrology is beyond a simple, superstitious misuse of time. Plying the trade of occult practices is to traffic with the demonic. The "uncanny" concurrence of events, people contacts and trivia in a person's life, seeming to confirm the forecast of their horoscope, is the direct result of demonic manipulation of people and circumstances. It isn't the result of some cosmic influence radiating from the stars, but a hellish one emanating from Satan himself, having found but one more way to steal, to kill and to destroy sheep-like humans (John 10).

4) Presumably, everyone reading these words knows the difference between astrology and astronomy: the former is a metaphysical or occult practice; the latter an objective pursuit of physical science. There is nothing wrong with the study of astronomy. Indeed, there is great inspiration in studying any aspect of God's creation. In this realm, the acid test is the willingness of the student to acknowledge God's handiwork and to overcome the idolatrous systems of human pride which chalk galaxies off to a deity named Chance (Psalm 19:1-6; Romans 1:18-32).

5) Finally, knowledgeable Bible students are aware of the fact and the reason that the name of some star groups occur in the Bible (ex: Job 9:9; 38:31, 32; Amos 5:8). These references to constellations are not astrological, but are didactic—that is, they are a means of teaching. It is a fact that before the ancient Babylonian systems of astrology came into vogue, the godly patriarchs linked the spiritual lessons of God's promised redemption in the minds of their children by using the canvas of the skies (and in a day when pen and paper were unknown).

The way to relate to a person involved in astrology is not to preach against their practice, but to show them the love of Jesus Christ. It may be that their quest is an honest one, not an avoidance of confronting the reality of the Savior. If so, when they encounter His love in you, they'll do what wise men do every time. They will cease "following stars" and bow before Jesus.

When God puts His Word out for us, it is LIFE for us.

II Chronicle 7:14 – If MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, (not My hand) turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.

When we do what He says, then He’ll have something to talk with us about.
When we do this, He will hear, forgive and heal the land.
He will not heal sin.

Folks are upset about the homosexuals marching in the land.
Folks are upset about the abortion industry…..and want something done about corruption across our land.  Politicians will not bring the answers our country has need of.

Judgment begins in our own house.
I Peter 4:17 - For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

IF WE WANT WHAT WE NEED, WE WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS.

Father, HELP us to listen and do what You have told us to. In Jesus' Name.

“THE WIND OF GOD”

20 Prophetic Words & Words of Knowledge for 2016 & Beyond

On December 27, 2015, I was on my back porch, and I casually looked out and saw

the wind blowing gently out of the south. A moment later, I looked, and it was blowing out of

the northeast. As soon as I saw that, I heard Holy Spirit say to me, “The wind has shifted.” I

was immediately filled with such a strong unction that I left the back porch and went inside.

My pen literally began to fly across my yellow legal pad. For over 2 hours, I wrote prophetic

words and words of knowledge as fast as I could. It was literally a divine download that was a

total surprise to me. I continued to receive more words in the days that followed. In total,

there are 20 prophetic words and words of knowledge, both personal and for the nations, for

2016 and beyond.

I believe these words will relate to many people, and I trust they will minister to you. I

also believe that they were not given to direct you, but to confirm things for you. I do not

believe that all of these are specifically for the year 2016, as I received them with no timeline;

although many of these will relate to this year. For some of you, these words may have

already begun to come to pass. For others, you may begin to see them activate in the near

future. Please feel free to contact our office with any testimonies regarding these words. I am

looking forward to what the Lord has for His Church in the days ahead!

1. THE YEAR OF THE WIND

This year will be very unusual on many levels. As a matter of fact, a phrase will be repeated

over and over on the lips of people of many nations. You will hear it said, “I have never seen

anything like this before.” There will be a great stir among the people of the nations.

Seemingly, nothing will remain normal any longer. This will not be just an American

phenomenon, but it will touch all the continents.

• The Lord shall rise up and make Himself known.

• The forgotten shall shout for great joy.

• The heathen will see a great light.

• Unbelievers will take another look.

• Experts will be stumped.

• Nations shall be shaken, but kingdoms shall be jolted.

• Dead, dry bones will experience a fresh prophetic wind.

• Some will struggle with the question, “Is this God, or is this the devil?” But God will

receive all the glory for His mysterious wonders.

• This will be the year of the winds of God, and those winds are already blowing even as I

speak this word.

2. SAY GOODBYE TO THE PIG PEN

You are a victim of swine syndrome. Human swine have persecuted and mocked you openly

because of your faith and love for God. These swine have trampled upon the pearls that Holy

Spirit has formed in you. They have made your life miserable and very stressful, but the Lord

says to you that He is taking you out of the hog pen and setting you up high on a perch. He will

cause you to soar like an eagle. God has said, “Enough is enough!” There is such a change

coming in your life that you will need time to adapt yourself to the many changes in store for

you. You have been persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but you have surely survived.

Now the Lord Himself shall reward you openly and cause His fragrance to grace your new

space.

3. IN YOUR FACE

You have had such obstacles in your life. It has been as though you have experienced a

contrary wind in your face hindering your every move. As a matter of fact, for many years,

almost everything you have attempted has experienced set backs! “In your face” is the phrase

that best fits where you have been. Countless adversaries have been in your face withstanding

you. At times, you have even tried to justify this contrary wind as possibly being sent from God;

but you knew in your heart that was not true. Now, things have shifted, and what was once

resistance to you has now moved behind you and is working for you, propelling you forward.

Things are definitely changing from contrary to favorable. This favorable wind is timely for you

in so many ways! The Lord has your back!

4. HEAVEN WIND

This shift in the wind will cause life-giving air to blow into the nostrils and mouths of your loved

ones who have fainted. It will be somewhat like a supernatural oxygen mask. Even the

backsliders and the lost, who have been slowly dying and have fallen by the wayside

struggling to breathe, shall catch their breath. It is a fresh wind from Heaven. Those who are

saturated with the cares of life and those who suffer dark depression, anxiety attacks and

disturbed sleep shall finally find rest and relief. The Comforter has come! This wind bloweth

where it listeth. As in the Upper Room, the Spirit was so anxious that He rushed. It was a

rushing and a mighty wind! It will cover you and your loved ones like a warm comforter blanket.

The Spirit sat upon each of them, and the Spirit will sit upon your sons, your daughters and

others of your household. He will rush to you. As a matter of fact, He is rushing to you even

now as you hear this. He is filling your lungs again with life-giving oxygen. Take a deep breath.

It is even happening as I am giving this word! Breathe Him in… Holy Spirit is resuscitating and

reviving you as I give this word. Hyperventilation and fearful breathing is subsiding and is

giving way to peaceful and restful breathing. I declare sweet, peaceful sleep to come upon you

even from this day forward. Peaceful rest has returned! He gives His beloved restful sleep.

5. FROM DROUGHT TO DRENCHING RAIN

(This is a word for the dry and famished ministers.)

A wind has already caused a 500-year drought to shift on the West Coast. Water has recently

returned on a drought-stricken and parched land after years of no rain and desperate

conditions. The shift started late in 2015. Not just long awaited showers, but now snow is

falling—large amounts of snowpack are accumulating up on the mountains. The locals say it is

the most snowpack in decades. Just as the famine has yielded, so will cold and dry hearts

yield to the change of atmospheres. Showers will intensify into rain—rain bringing in the latter

rain of My Spirit. You will not have to strive. It just simply will begin to rain. My rain shall come

on the thirsty! I have heard the cries and groans for rain. I will make it to rain on the just and

the unjust. Even the unsuspecting shall be taken back at My goodness to send this rain upon

them. This rain will bring the familiar, as well as the unfamiliar. The wind has already shifted.

You will smell My rain before you feel it. Whosoever will welcome this latter rain of My Spirit

shall be revived, refreshed and renewed. Listen and you will hear an abundance of rain.

6. DELIVERANCE FROM WOMB WOUNDS

I am going to separate you from the chaff in your life. I will blow off of you the hinderances that

have hindered you. For some time, I have been speaking to you regarding your addictions and

habits that render you weak and ineffective. I will open your eyes to see what you could not

see before. As Balaam was made aware of what was hindering his progress, you will also see

and understand the endless delays and setbacks that have caused you such discouragement

and heartache. I will unseat and uproot, by My Spirit, the things that have been upon you, even

from the womb. Your deliverance shall come in one hour!

7. FORGIVE BUT RUN

You have been greatly misunderstood. Prevailing circumstances that are satanic in origin are

so complicated that you have even wondered how could something so insignificant become so

evil and complicated. This has cost you friends and family, and it has even begun to affect your

health. But hear me, the Holy Spirit is moving on your behalf. This is finally coming to a close.

The Lord Himself will bring closure. Although you went through a painful learning curve, you

will now finally experience the new. But be cautioned… because you enjoy and seek the

comfort of the familiar, do not fall into that trap again. You must forgive, release these

adversaries and remove yourself from the very atmosphere where everything has been so

distorted and tormenting. My Spirit will lead you to new places where there will be new faces,

and you will learn to trust again. Your feet and legs will heal quickly from the scars of the trap

that held you fast; but you must keep moving, and move quickly, because that trap will not

remain open for very long. Be diligent; now is the time for your departure…

8. AN IMPOSSIBLE PREGNANCY

Mary had an impossible pregnancy. It was beyond impossible. Even the angel said it was

impossible with man, but only possible with God. A virgin to conceive? There is nothing normal

about that at all. Impossible… but God… I speak to you today, daughter, that your situation,

likewise, is very complicated and impossible; but it is not beyond God. Your situation is totally

in the realm of a miracle from God. Sometimes, miracles look like a mess at first, but they turn

out to be a jaw dropper. I release you to believe in spite of it all. Against all odds, your faith will

begin to stir, although you do not understand. You do not need to understand. I release a spirit

of life to hover in your womb and for you and your husband’s bodies to become anointed to

produce a baby. I declare it to be so!

9. LAUGH AT THE LOCUSTS

I am proclaiming that you indeed will have the money to retire and transition into the life you

have desired for so long. You have worked and given to the Lord and His work. For a very long

time, you have sacrificed, prayed and planned for this time of your life; and now, just as you

are ready to step across the threshold into the new, a strange fear has gripped you!

Grasshopper fear has made you afraid of your promised land. You feel threatened by the very

things you have desired and worked so hard to accomplish. This swarm of dream-eating

locusts appear to be so significant that your hope has faltered, and your plans have collapsed;

but the Lord is saying that you will indeed realize your dream, and you will surely prevail! He

will restore what the locusts have eaten. The Lord is a restorer! Fear not! All will be well. The

Angel of the Lord will oversee this for you.

10. SUDDEN CHANGE OF PLANS

Someone has applied yourself. You have studied, gone to school, focused, labored, prepared

and saved for a certain goal; but now, just as you are ready to be launched toward what you

believed was your destiny… surprise! The Lord has suddenly rearranged everything. It actually

is a divine intervention! Another door has opened—an unexpected door that you totally had not

expected. You feel inadequate, and you feel unsure and insecure; but this is a moment in time

for you. This has thrown your life, your plans and your preparations into a tailspin. The Lord

has gone before you. The future He has planned for you is a good one. It is higher than the

one you had planned. I hear opportunity knocking at the door. The question is, are you moving

toward the door, or away from it?

11. THAT WHICH WAS, IS AGAIN

It is as though yesterday is now reappearing. Due to the complicated circumstances of

yesteryear, it was not meant to be; but now, after all these years, here you are again. You are

feeling the same feelings. You are coming alive again at the prospects of what could become a

reality after all these years. This is your time. It was not wrong back then. It just was not time,

and it was not the right season. But now, the time has come to look again. Extenuating

circumstances are not the same now as they were then. This is a new beginning, only a later

time. What was, is again!

12. RUNAWAY BRIDE

Your heart has always been soft for the Lord and for the work of God. You have felt a call upon

your life; but something happened, and you have lost focus. Now, where you find yourself is

that your feet are headed to the altar to marry, but your heart has turned in a different direction;

and you are in the valley of decision! Follow your heart! The good is always the enemy to the

best. There is always an Isaac for a Rebecca. Trust in the Lord and lean not unto your own

understanding, and He will direct your paths. The love of your life is waiting for you, but it might

not be the one waiting at that altar.

13. IT’S TIME TO GO HOME

You are in the music industry, and you are very well known. Your heart is broken, but so is your

ex-wife’s. A long time ago, your feet were on a much different path; but then things began to

change, and it was as though you stepped on a magical escalator. It took you higher and

higher, yet further and further away from the people that love you the most. But it also took you

far from your Lord that you have loved since a child. You have always loved the Lord, even in

your most trying times. The Lord has plans for you, even now. A voice on the inside of you has

been speaking lately, even as you sleep upon your bed. It is calling you to come home. But

you say, “I can’t. I have strayed too far, and I have burned all my bridges." But there is still one

bridge standing, and those that love you are there waiting for you just as the prodigal’s father

waited patiently for his son. Listen to that voice; it is the Holy Spirit calling you off that escalator

back to the familiar path that leads home. You must make the first move, and make it quickly.

Listen! There is a voice calling you, “Come home!”

14. I’M COMING OUT

A loved one has you very concerned. A lying and delusional spirit entered their life and

seduced them into a stupor of deception. You have felt so fearful and helpless because it has

such a strong grip on their mind. Unstable behavior has resulted. It was through pride and a

bitter root that this spirit entered. As a virus causes multiple complications, this continues to

spread like a green bay tree. The time of this exile from reality has expired. God has declared,

“Enough of this!” Effectual prayer and persistence have prevailed. As Nebuchadnezzar of old

came to himself, so shall it be again. As surely as it entered, it will exit. Mercy will prevail.

Humility is required!

15. NETS AND LINES

Jesus said to Simon Peter and his brothers, “I will make you fishers of men.” Jesus later gave

Peter a word to go fishing and informed him that the first fish caught would contain a coin in its

mouth that would be used to pay their tribute (taxes). It was supernatural provision that

resulted from privileged information.

Last Friday morning, as I was sound asleep, I heard Holy Spirit speaking directly to me. He

said, “There are usually two ways that fish are caught—with a net and on a line.” I was so

startled that I awoke immediately and looked at my clock. It was 5:55. Now awake, I heard the

Lord continue. He said that there is coming a great international harvest of souls though “the

net” (Internet) and “online.” He said that the Internet will light up as Holy Spirit accelerates His

mighty wonders. He also said that “the net” and “lines” will bring tremendous and miraculous

provision to God’s people because time is of the essence, and the waters are abundant for

harvest. A new and very powerful wind of anointing will blow through the Internet. In real time,

signs and wonders will be witnessed without edit. The heavens declare the glory of God, and

the firmament will show forth His handiwork!

Footnote: The number five is the number of grace. The Holy Spirit is revealing to us that we

are in a triple grace season. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. I want

everyone in this house, and especially those on “the net” and “online,” to give Him glory.

Glorious days are indeed just ahead. Come on! Let’s give Him great and high praise! 2016 -

“The Year of the Wind!”

16. THE DOWNFALL OF JEZEBEL

Jezebel will not leave on her own accord, but I, the Lord, will cause her to fall from her tower of

power. Even as of late, you have wondered if anything could unseat her from her evil

purposes. Her victims are many. She has come to her final chapter. I, the Lord, will not tolerate

her subversive activities any longer! Deliverance has come!

17. THE TRUTH WILL COME OUT

The truth will finally surface. Truth that has been buried for many years will emerge into the

light of day. Deception will finally end. Shame and dishonor will yield to facts. Others will learn

the truth that you have known all along, and that truth will bring vindication.

18. DANGER ZONE

Something, or someone, has caught your eye. You have slowed down, and you are

considering leaving the high road. There is an unfamiliar path that beckons you, but it is

fraught with danger. This is a slippery slope, and it is not the way I have prepared for you. It is

a path that leads to nowhere. The way that I have prepared for you is safe and well lit. It has

signs and signals to guide you, markers to mark your progress and many to assist you along

the way. There is a way that seems right, but this one is wrong!

19. HEALING HANDS

There is a proliferation of sickness, suffering and weakness. My people have mostly forsaken

the laying on of hands and have neglected the Lord’s Table; therefore, there are many sick

among you, and there is widespread weakness. I am sending a fresh wind of revelation upon

My Church. I am raising up a company that are not only called, but chosen specifically, to bring

renewed understanding of the Table of the Lord. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they

shall recover! Do not neglect so great a salvation!

20. NO MORE IMPOSTERS

Your past, your history, is replete with tremendous pain. You were a casualty of being

unequally yoked to an imposter. You came to know a different person than the one you fell in

love with, and the lights went out in your soul. Your heart, once tender, hardened to become

extremely hard in an attempt to survive the abuses. It is difficult to emphasize your

indescribable journey. You swore that you would never love or trust again. After all these years,

you have recently begun to feel again. The chill of scarred emotions is now yielding to warm

love. Your heart is being thawed out; even others recognize the change in you. I am healing

you to love again. Now a certain someone has entered your life as a special gift just for you! I

am giving you this word as confirmation that hope is not being deferred any longer. You are

being swept off your feet in slow motion…
