Who Hindered You?

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage
Galatians 5:1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, we KNOW WHO has hindered us, don't we? The only face we're to put to that is satan. If he influenced someone to bring us to places where we are again enslaved, with a yoke of bondage, or if he just brought to us whispers from hell that may have gripped our heart, he's out to steal, kill and destroy. That's all he knows how to do. (John 10:10)
None of us can afford to allow there to be distance put between us and the Lord. No fear, no torment, no doubt and unbelief, no lack of peace, no lack of any kind. We cannot afford to allow "who" to grip our hearts and take hold - to steal us away from God.
While I was growing up, the only time I remember the song below, was during the end of a service, when there was a call for people to come to salvation. Salvation is not just our ticket out of hell, It is EVERYTHING God has provided for us.
-to be saved from suffering
-to be kept safe
-to be delivered
-to be rescued
-to be taken out of destruction, danger and peril
-to be restored to health
God is always calling us softly and tenderly, to remove distance between us, and waiting for our response to His Love and Care.
Sin? Well, I John 1:9 tells us that if we confess our sin that He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We've also been given instructions to give NO PLACE to the devil, because he belongs under our feet.(Ephesians 4:27);
He knows how to create within us a clean heart and how to restore a right spirit within us. (Psalm 51:10)
All we have to do is to respond to His Loving Call to our hearts....in the Name of Jesus.
Father, HELP us to quickly respond to the voice of Your Spirit. HELP us to be willing and obedient, and not only know You, but WALK with You, all the days of our lives, in the Name of Jesus
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
  1. Calling for you and for me;
    See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,
    Watching for you and for me.
    • Refrain:
      Come home, come home,
      You who are weary, come home;
      Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
      Calling, O sinner, come home!
  2. Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,
    Pleading for you and for me?
    Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
    Mercies for you and for me?
  3. Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,
    Passing from you and from me;
    Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,
    Coming for you and for me.
  4. Oh, for the wonderful love He has promised,
    Promised for you and for me!
    Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
    Pardon for you and for me.
