For Our Nation

In the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit...the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, as priests and kings called by the Word of God....a royal priesthood seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus with all spiritual blessings, we apply the Blood of Jesus, the Blood of the everlasting covenant to the spiritual atmosphere that governs the United States of America, and into this nation, by the authority of the Sonof Man, we release Holy Angels from the innumerable company of the heavenly host, mighty warriors of righteousness, revelation, increase and blessing in the knowledge and the fear of the Lord, to hearken to the voice of the Word of God : Cast down the principalitites and powers and the rulers of darkness over America, put to flight the devil's army and minister to the heirs ofsalvation, establish the dominion of the saints and the power that God gives them to prosper in all things pertaining to life and Godliness....that they may live and give to fulfill, sustain and perpetuate the blessed promise of the Father, that in the seed of Araham should, in all nations of the earth, be blessed....which seed is Jesus Christ our Lord, the head of the church. By righteousness of God vested in His people through the Blood of the everlatsing covenant, we order the works of the devil in America destroyed, every state, county, city and home in America, to wash away every black lie of the devil, to convict of sin and rightousness and judgment, we release an invincible and glorious revelation of the incarnate, crucified and risen Savior toeach and every heart in America, that Jesus Christ our Lord will be blessed, honored and obeyed, praised, worshipped and adored in all the land to the GLORY OF GOD our Father.

AND THESE SIGNS WILL FOLLOW THOSE WHO BELIEVE...in the Name of Jesus, they will cast out devils, they speak with new languages, they shall tread down the serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, every place they go they will establish the kingdom of God with signs , wonders and miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit confirming the Word of God and glorifying His blessed name....in righteousness, peace and rejoicing, they will advance the banner of Love....broadcast the glorious gospel to everyone....healing all those oppressed by the devil...for the Spirit of the Lord is upon them, for He has anointed His Church with the testimony of Jesus Christ, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. AMEN!!!!

The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WE MUST pray over our country.
WE CAN make a difference.
WE DON'T receive the reports from Washington D.C. or any other place....but we DO receive the report of the Lord...which is the Word of God.
In Jesus' Name.
I Am is speaking.
This is a prophecy that has come to our fellowhsip and I want to share it publically, to encourage us ALL.
The Latter Rain
To My people. To My Church.
Are you foolish or are you wise? Be alert, not idle, for If you sleep the sleep of death, cut off from God, you will miss the Holy Spirits moving in the time of the Latter Rain.
Are you feeding upon the Word of the Living God that proceeds out of His mouth? Or are you caught up in walking in the flesh, making provision for the flesh? Awake, hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church in this hour. Respond to the Holy Spirit. Sit not idle, hypnotized by the call of Babylon, the short lived reign of Egypt, the glitter and charm from demons on assignment arrayed in many places and faces, with luring seducing power. Awake, flee, come out from among the destined dead, come out, flee for your life. Look not back.
I say, answer Me when I call, AWAKE, shed the scales from your eyes, the blinders from your mind. Answer Me when I call, open when I knock, follow when I lead. Why march into the dark death prisons. I am your Savior, your Lord, your Helper, your Healer, why halt you between two opinions, two opponents, Me and satan? Go all the way with me, LIVE, LIVE, LIVE.
The enticing spirits from hell have come with seducing powers, but I am the Victor over all. I took the power over all of hell and gave it to you, My Church. Put on the whole armor of God, the total power of God. It’s your garment. As the priest was clothed from head to foot, you, My People, have the covering to choose, each one, as Aaron, was anointed. It ran down from his head, down on his beard, down to garments and to the feet.
O My People, awake in this hour, I am in your midst, walking, talking, leading, performing My priestly duties. I am your High Priest. I call you to arise and function in your priestly calling. You are called, anointed ordained and covered by My Blessing, My power, My desire and will, My Blood.
I Am God and there is no other.
Many are and will perish by choice; they made not the Lord God their Abiding place. I have called, I have drawn, I have sent the prophets the priests, the laborers, why will you die? TURN, TURN, TURN. Turn to Me. My arms are open to receive and my Word to save.
It is not My will that any should perish.
Come before it’s too late!
The door will one day be closed.
Which side of the door will you be on?
Shut in with God, shut out darkness.
Choose! I have given every soul a choice.
I see your heart. I know your thoughts.
You say “I can’t be saved, I missed it so I have sinned, and made so many mistakes. I can’t forget my past, sins, mistakes, faults, wrong doings.” Don’t count my shed Blood as nothing! The precious Blood, Divine Blood…the Blood of the Son of God. Shed for all sins of God’s created beings. The Blood that takes away, not just covers. I am He that blotteth out all your sins. I only ask you to believe and receive. Be saved, set free from the curse of sin, which is eternal death. The enemy will say, "Not so!" He can’t say anything else for he is a liar. Praise me for My Blood Cleansing and forgiveness – out loud, and the enemy will run from you. Receive the New Life, receive your New Master, receive peace and Divine Help. Expect Good things. Expect God things. Say it, think it, see it, hear it, experience it.
I Am that I Am, the One and Only God!
Keep What God's Given
I was reading part of a small booklet authored by the late John Osteen, entitled "Keep What God's Given."
The three initial Scripture references really got me MAD at the devil...again.
1. Matthew 12:42-45 that says:
43 "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
44 Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.
45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation."
2. John 10:10
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
3. I Peter 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Three things the devil does.
1. he will return
2. he will steal, kill and destroy.
3. he will devour.
None of us will ENJOY the blessings of God without being contested by our enemy.
More battles are lost and more blessings are lost on satans counter-attack than any other time in our lives, and I see that we need to know HOW TO KEEP what God's given us.
In Ephesians 4:27 we're told:
27 nor give place to the devil.
James 4:7 says:
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Ephesians 2:2,3, 5
2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
We ALL, at one time belonged to satan, before any of us came to Christ.
I Corinthians 6:19, 20
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
WE ARE the house/temple of God.
While the devil is so vigilent, constant and sober, so active and some of God's people are NOT.
Many in the Body of Christ sit down and say they don't want the Word of God, and to invest the time it takes to make it part of their lives.
They say they don't want to believe the "faith message,"...when the "faith message" is what is preached all through the Word of God. We cannot please God without faith.
They say they don't want to appear extreme, or radical....geeze! I think the price Jesus paid was EXTREME and RADICAL...and He paid it so we could live OVERCOMING LIVES.
They don't want to believe the Bible.
A lot of folk just want to go rock-a-by-baby in their comfort zones that "religion" has to offer them....when the devil is SEEKING WHO HE MAY DEVOUR!?? If that be the case, our goose is cooked.
What does God say to do?
Revelation 2:25
25 But hold fast what you have till I come.
Hebrews 4:14
14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Paul told us in Romans to renew our minds to the Word of God (Romans 12:1,2)....He KNOWS it's the SWORD of the Spirit that we will be able to combat our enemy with. It's THE ONLY thing that defeats the devil.
When Jesus was taken by God's Spirit into the wilderness to fast and pray before His public ministry got underway....the enemy came to him with three propositions. he tempted Jesus in spirit, soul and body...and each time Jesus' response was "It is written." He sat a good example for each of us. Didn't He?
(Father, I thank YOU that YOU HELP US! Help us to be vigilent with Your Word. Help us to be uncompromising with our confession of FAITH in Your Word. Help us to be faithful to all that You've given us to live this life with....Your Word, the Blood of Your Son, The Name of Your Son and the HELP of YOUR MIGHTY MIGHTY Spirit! Help us to be vigilent, and sober, so the enemy, satan will not be able to "successfully RETURN", "kill, steal and destroy", and so he will not be able to "devour" any part of our lives." Help us to KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE GIVEN US! Help us to be overcomers OVER the devil with by the Blood of Jesus and the Word of our testimony, which is setting ourselves in agreement with what YOU SAY! In Jesus' Name.
Acknowledge Him and He'll Direct Our Paths
Proverbs 3:5, 6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
In the notations of my Bible there is a segment called "Kingdom Dynamics" and the person that contributed to the commentary for this Scripture was Dick Eastman. He had this to say about it.
Intimacy and Spiritual Breakthrough.
FAITH'S WARFARE.
Two words in this passage are especially significant - the words "ways" an "acknowledge."
The word "ways" (Hebrew derek) means "a road, a course, or a mode of action." It suggests specific opportunities a person may encounter on a recurring basis. The most common "segment of opportunity" we experience regularly is each new ay. It is as if this passage suggests that in all our "days" we should acknowledge God, and in so doing He will direct our paths.
Of equal significance is the word "acknowledge" (Hebrew yada') Elsewhere yada' is translate "know," meaning to know by observation, investigation, reflection or firstand experience. But the highest level of yada' is in "direct, intimate contact." This refers to life-giving intimacy, as in marriage. Applied to a spiritual context, it suggests an intimacy with God in prayer that conceives and births blessings and victories. Joined to our Proverbs text, we might conclude that if in all our "days" we maintain yada' (direct, intimate contact with God), God promises to direct our paths toward fruitful, life-begetting endeavors.
GOD, HELP US to maintain intimate contact with YOU. Help us to keep close to you by prayer, meditation in Your Word so that we may hear Your voice and so Your Blessings and Victories are birthed in our lives. HELP US to do so, so YOU may direct our paths toward fruitful, life-begetting endeavors, for all of our days. In Jesus' Name.
Coming To the Altar of God
Matthew 5:23, 24
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Romans 12:1
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
This passage speaks about offence, strife, discord and when we take ourselves to the altar as the living sacrifice that we are to be....if those things have been given ANY place in our lives, we have to get up from the altar of God, make things RIGHT in our lives; and/or others....THEN go back to God with a clean heart and clean hands.
We ARE the living sacrifices upon God's altar, and we WILL be an acceptable sacrifice unto the Lord, In Jesus' Name.
GOD HELP US.
Our prayers will be hindered if there is any strife, unforgiveness...if there's ANYTHING between us or anyone else. I don't know about you, but I've got too many prayers before God, to have them HINDERED by things that the enemy puts in my way to cause me or others to stumble.
Matthew 18:7
Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
The Word says that offences WILL come...but WOE to the one by whom they come.
NOT ME!!! In Jesus' Name.
Galatians 5:7
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
Job 22:30
30 He will even deliver one who is not innocent; Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.
We MUST remember that we've got to have clean heart and clean hands, and this is something that is doable....else God would not have required it. Lives are at stake, and not just our own, those that we've got before the Lord.
God HELP US, not to allow anything that comes our way HINDER us from obeying YOUR truth, Your Word! To hinder our prayers, to hinder others lives to hinder ourselves from being all that YOU have called us to be. HELP US to live and move and have our being IN YOU! In Jesus' Name.
Captives of the Righteous Delivered
Isaiah 49:24, 25
24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?
25 But thus says the LORD: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.
The picture that comes to mind when I read this passage is that of a preditor, as in a hawk or eagle with a small creature securely in its talons, for it's next meal for she and her young.
If you or I were to attempt to remove that creature from the tight grasp, we'd rip the critter to shreds...killing it in our attempts.
God said here that the captive of the mighty will be taken away....and that's something that ONLY HE CAN DO, to retrieve us or our loved ones from the grasp of satan. He said the prey of the terrible would be delivered.
For I will contend with him who contends with you AND I WILL SAVE YOUR CHILDREN! HALLELUJAH!
God gives such GREAT promise there.
Psalm 124:6
6 Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.
Father, THANK YOU for HELPING US! You've given great promise of deliverance when we need it. Thank You for being true to your Word and that we can trust You to deliver us and our loved ones from evil. You WILL save our children, in Jesus' Name.
Lovely Feet Bringing Good News!
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Have been meditating on this Scripture.
Know anyone that is facing a mountain in their lives? Take the good news of the Word of God and bring down everything that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God's Word.
Salvation is not just our ticket out of hell...it's complete provision for our spirit soul and body. We're to proclaim slavation from sickness, poverty, disease, lack of any kind, torment, confusion, fear, dread, opression, languishing, bondage of every kind. The New Covenant that Jesus purchased FOR US, is all inclusive.
See a mountain? Bring the Word of God into place and set the captive free...with the Name of Jesus, His Blood, the finished work of Jesus, His Word. SHOW that our God truly Reigns.
Father, thank You for Your Word. Jesus, thank You for your obedience even unto Your own death. Father, I ask You to help us to be Your hands, Your ears, Your mouthpiece and Your feet. Help us to be moved by Your compassion with every Divine Appointment that You bring our way. Help us to move swiftly and in the confidence of Your Word to set the captive free every day of our lives. In Jesus' Name.
Rivers of Living Water
The Lord sent His Word and healed and delivered me from all destruction. I serve the Lord and He blessed my food and drink and He takes away sickness from me and my family. He heals all our diseases.
Psalm 107:20
Exodus 23:25
Psalm 103:3b
The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me; therefore He that raised up Christ from the dead has quickened my mortal body, making it immune to every sickness and disease.
Romans 8:11
All of my needs are met in Christ Jesus for my God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of poverty, sickness and spiritual death, and because I am the seed of Abraham, blessing He will bless me and multiplying He will multiply me. I receive the bountifulness of God to me today.
Philipians 4:19
Galatians 3:13
Hebrews 6:14
Don't you just LOVE God's Word? It's full of LIFE and POWER and is always doing what it's been sent to do. God also said that the effectual fervant prayer of the righteous avails MUCH. Thank God! When we pray God's Word it will always make a difference in our lives.
Father, thank YOU for the gift of Your Word, the Bible. Thank You that it is alive and active and powerful - producing everything that You sent it to do. Thank You that You have let us know that the SAME Word that You created the heavens and the Earth with will also create what we need created and change what we need changed. HELP US to be FULL of Your Word, so that we will have Rivers of Living Water to share wherever we are. Thank You Jesus for bringing to us the GREAT covenant that enables us to be part of Your life, being JOINT HEIRS with You. HELP US to get IN and stay IN YOU, In Jesus' Name.
Our Children are the Heritage of the Lord
Our children are a heritage of the Lord. If satan tries to lead them "south" in their faith, our faith - away from a walk with God, and need to be brought INTO a walk with God, the ONLY thing that will make things different is the power of God's Word.
What I decree is God's Word over my children and grandchildren, and these are only a few passages that is available for us to make use of to use in prayer.
They are delivered out of darkness, by God's mighty hand, into the marvelous light of the Lord, completely whole, spirit, soul and body, with their feet upon the Highway of Holiness, walking in the plans that God has for them for all of their days, in Jesus' Name.
In Ezekiel 37 it's the account of the Lord telling Ezekiel to speak to the dry bones scattered all across the valley.
Ezekiel prophesied God's Word to them and they rose up and became a mighty army.
What we do is take God's Word and prophesy them over our people, our family, and our children and it alone will make THE difference in their lives.
13 Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.
14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it," says the LORD.' "
Father, I thank YOU that Your Word is sharper and more powerful than any two edged sword and is mighty. It created the heavens and the earth, Your Word delivered us out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. Your Word, is what deliveres us, Keeps us, and makes us VICTORIOUS. Your Word will be around even when heaven and earth passes away...YOUR WORD is eternal. HELP US to take Your Word as sillful warriors, and use it against the forces of hell and FOR our children. She Made It On The Page....
Remember the account of Rahab in the book of Joshua?
Joshua sent out a couple of spies, to go secretly look over the land, particularly the city of Jericho.
The fellows came to the home of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there.
When the king of Jericho announced that there were Israelites in their city that were searching out the countryside, he sent some folk to Rahabs house to call the men out.
She had already taken the men to the roof of her house to hide them. Rahab told the soldiers that the men were not in her house.
After the soldiers left she went to the roof to tell the men:
Joshua 2:8-13
8 Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof,
9 and said to the men: "I know that the LORD has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you.
10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.
11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the LORD your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.
12 Now therefore, I beg you, swear to me by the LORD, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father's house, and give me a true token,
13 and spare my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death."
Then in vs. 14 the fellows said:
14 So the men answered her, "Our lives for yours, if none of you tell this business of ours. And it shall be, when the LORD has given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you."
So, you know how the account goes. She was given instruction to let down a red cord down out of her window....and after the 7th trip around Jericho, the Isralites blew the trumpets and shouted a great shout and the walls came down...ALL EXCEPT RAHABS HOME ON TOP OF THE WALL. The Israelites were given instruction about Rahab and her family...they were all SAVED.
This girl had the guts to take hold of FAITH, and DO what she was instructed to do, and BELIEVED.
This girl Made It On The Page....she was the great grandmother of King David. Her faith was honored by God, and He even included her in the lineage of Jesus.
Rahab even made it in the "Hall of Fame of those of Faith" in Hebrews 11:30-31
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.
31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.
That girl had NOTHING - no foundational teaching, she had nobody to expound the Word of God to her, and was not raised up in the Hebrew faith. She took the word of promise from a couple of spies because the Isralites had a reputation of being taken care of by their God. SHE WANTED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BY GOD. She was. She had nothing but the desire in her own heart.
Here we are, most of us,
1. Have the Blood of Jesus
2. Have the Name of Jesus
3. Have the Word of God
4. Have the Holy Spirit
5. Have the armor of God
We have been well equipped, and we need to see the same overcoming victory.
I WANT TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BY GOD TOO! LOL
I receive the finished work of Jesus.
I thank God that He's made His Word easy to receive.
I receive ALL OF IT, for ALL of my life. LOL
And I will TELL EVERYONE I KNOW about How HE BROUGHT ME OUT of every snare of the devil.
Hallelujah!!!!!
Father, THANK YOU for HELPING US to hear and quickly receiving your Word. Thank You for showing Yourself strong on our behalf, and that You are FAITHFUL to all of Your Word, and provision for us. I give you PRAISE and THANKSGIVING, in Jesus' Name.
What About Paul's Thorn In The Flesh?
This article was authored by Gloria Copeland - was retrieved from: http://www.kcm.org/real-help/article/what-about-pauls-thorn-flesh
And is being used by permission
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tradition has taught that Paul's thorn in the flesh was some type of physical ailment or sickness. If you will take time to study the Word, you will find that this is not true. Paul clearly states in II Corinthians 12:7 that because of the abundance of revelations he had received, he was given a thorn in the flesh and the thorn was "a messenger of Satan." The Greek word translated as messenger always refers to someone who is sent and denotes a definite personality.

This same word for messenger is translated in other verses of the New Testament as "angel." Angels, as God's messengers, are created beings with personalites. Satan's messengers would be in the same category. In contrast, sickness is not a personality, nor a messenger.

Paul's thorn in the flesh was a wicked spirit or angel sent by Satan to buffet him. Buffet means to strike repeatedly. God does not send wicked spirits against people in the Body of Christ for any reason (James 1:13). He sent the Holy Spirit and has given us His Word, which is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness to discipline and guide us (see John 16:13; II Timothy 3:16-17).

The phrase "thorn in the flesh" is a figure of speech or illustration. It is similar to calling someone who irritates us "a pain in the neck." Likewise, Paul's thorn was an evil angel who caused him great irritation, but not with sickness or disease. In II Corinthians 11:24-26, Paul lists what some of these "irritations" were - being imprisoned, stoned, beaten, shipwrecked and attacked by angry mobs.

Other examples of the persecutions Paul suffered are found in Acts 13:45, 50 and Acts 14:5-7, 19-20. The people in these verses were instruments used by the source of persecution - the messenger of Satan.

This evil angel was assigned to Paul for one reason - to stop the Word from being preached. Wherever Paul went, the messenger of Satan worked to incite the people against him. All the persecutions that Paul suffered were Satan's attempt to steal the Word from him (see Mark 4:14-20).

Satan will see to it that no believer is exalted above the measure of the Word that actually lives in him. The Word that is alive in your heart is the word on which you steadfastly act. You will have to stand in faith for every word of revelation knowledge you receive.

Many have used Galatians 4:13 to support their traditional teaching that Paul's thorn was sickness or disease: "You know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first." The Greek word for infirmities means "want of strength; weakness, indicating inability to produce results." This translation is used in I Corinthians 2:3: "And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling." Like many believers, when Paul first started ministering, he never felt he had the natural ability to do the job God called him to do.

But the next verse goes on to tell us he was obedient anyway and the Holy Spirit made up the difference with a demonstration of His power: "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (I Corinthians 2:4). Paul's infirmity or weakness of the flesh provided an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work.

That's why Paul could say, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities [lack of strength], that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities [weakness], in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong" (II Corinthians 12:9-10). Our weakness is no longer a problem once we learn to rely on the Holy Spirit's power.

God had given Paul the revelation of the authority of the believer. Paul had authority over Satan in the Name of Jesus - just as you do. But he had to enforce his authority by directly commanding the evil spirit to desist in his maneuvers against him. However, in this instance, Paul sought deliverance from the Lord instead.

"For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me" (II Corinthians 12:8). If you want results, do not ask God to deal with the devil for you. Just as God told Moses to drive out the inhabitants of the land (Numbers 33:52), He instructs you to drive out the demons or evil spirits (Mark 16:17). "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

When Paul asked the Lord to make this messenger of Satan depart from him, the Lord said, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness" (II Corinthians 12:9). He did not say that the messenger would not depart. He was saying to Paul, "My favor is enough. For when you do not have the ability to humanly overcome, you have My Name to stop Satan's attack and cast out the devil."

The Greek word dunamis, which is translated strength in this verse, can also be translated as power. We get our English words dynamite and dynamo from it. It is the same word Jesus used in Acts 1:8 when He said, "Ye shall receive power [dunamis], after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." Weymouth's translation of II Corinthians 12:9 reads, "My grace suffices for you, for power is perfected in weakness" (The New Testament in Modern Speech). This is the opposite of the traditional teaching that Paul had no victory over the thorn in the flesh.

Paul lived to be an old man and then said that he could not decide whether to stay here or to go be with the Lord (Philippians 1:22-24). He needed to stay here for the Church's sake, but he yearned to go be with Jesus. He did not leave this world until he and the Lord were ready. This is not the description of a man who lived with sickness and disease.

Satan's angel, the thorn in the flesh, could gain no victory over Paul through adverse circumstances because the power of Christ rested on him. "I have learned in any and all circumstances, the secret of facing every situation..." (Philippians 4:12, The Amplified Bible). He revealed this secret in the next verse: "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me - I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me."

When Paul in himself was weak, Paul in Christ was strong. Satan's angel, the thorn in the flesh that we have heard so much about, never did overcome Paul and the power of God. Satan could do no more than irritate or annoy him like a thorn in his flesh - a temporary discomfort which could be removed. Paul was a covenant man; he ran the race and won. He knew his authority as a believer. He knew the shield of faith would quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16). When he began using his faith, the Lord was able to deliver him out of all the afflictions and persecutions (II Timothy 3:10-11).

Paul's thorn in the flesh is a tradition that Satan has used to deceive and rob many people. Using it as an excuse, tradition says that God gets glory from sickness because the world sees how marvelously the Christian bears pain and agony. Tradition never adds up to the right answer - anyone knows that the world has all the pain and agony it can stand. The world wants a way out of sickness, not another way into it.

If we allow the traditions of men to usurp authority over God's Word, we will be helpless in the face of sickness. God will be able to do nothing for us, because we have made the Word "of none effect" in our lives (Matthew 15:6).

Use the following confession to declare your freedom from ineffective religious traditions and walk in the power of God's Word instead.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your Word is Truth, O Lord. It is an incorruptible seed which I plant in my heart. I believe the Word has been planted in good ground and that I receive a mighty harvest.

I do not receive the ineffectual traditions of religion or the world which nullify the Word. I root out every perverse doctrine. I resist the powers of darkness that come to steal the Word of God.

The Word reveals Your will and I set myself in agreement with it. I renew my mind daily with Your Word in order to acquaint myself more intimately with You and to know Your ways. As Your Word becomes established in my heart, I become rooted and grounded in the Truth. In Jesus' Name, amen.

SAY IT!!!

Mark 11:23, 24
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Proverbs 12:13, 14
13 The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous will come through trouble.
14 A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth

Job 22:28
28 You will decree a thing and it will be established for you ; so light will shine on your ways.

Proverbs 18:20, 21
20 A mans stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat it's fruit.

Father, I trust Your Word....HELP US to trust it and act upon it. HELP US to BELIEVE what You have said. We need YOU. We're created in YOUR image, and our words hold great power. Help us to be full of Your Word and to WALK IN IT every day of our lives. In Jesus' Name.

JESUS ALREADY DID IT!

This is a prayer taken from Scripture, and following this confession of God's Word, are the Scripture references that it's been taken from.

Hebrews 4:12 tells us - For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Thank God for the living, powerful Word/Sword He's left for us.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Matthrew 18:17 declares that Jesus Himself bore my sicknesses and diseases. and since He already bore them, I don't have to. He was made sick so that I might be made well. He was beaten and bruised for me. He was my substitute, and He became sick so I wouldn't have to.
Isaiah 53:5 says by His stripes I was healed. But that is past tense. If I was healed, then that means that healing is already mine today. All I have to do is receive it. Jesus already did it for me. It's already done. I don't have to get my healing; it was a gift from my Lord and Savior. Jesus did it for me. He was bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement of my peace was on Him, and by His stripes I am healed.
My healing was bought and paid for two thousand years ago. I am not sick and trying to get healed. I am already healed, and sickness is trying to take hold in my body. But I won't let it! I boldly proclaim that Jesus already did it! therefore I am healed! Sickness has no right to stay in my body. I am healed, healthy, and whole because of the finished work of Jesus, IN THE NAME of Jesus.
Scripture References:
Isaiah 53:4, 5
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Psalm 103:2-4
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies
II Corinthians 5:21
21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Overcoming Worry
The following is a prayer taken from Scripture. Following are the Scripture References. If you have issues with worry....take these Scriptures and make use of them just as faithful as you would a prescription of medicine, and watch God's Word build faith in you and work in your life.
Then when you see God working in your life, and His Word doing it's work for you, don't forget to be thankful and give Him Glory for it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jesus said in His Word to not worry or have any anxiety about anything. He said to not take any thought or be concerned about any circumstance in my life. I cast my care, concern, and worry on the Lord.

I refuse to worry or be fearful. I put my trust and confidence in God. God will take care of me, because I know He loves me. I thank God for His presence and peace in my life. Jesus said not to let my heart be troubled or afraid, but to keep my mind focused on Him, knowing He will never leave me or forsake me.

God's Word says that the afflictions of the righteous are many but He will deliver them out of them all. I will keep looking to God and not worry or be in fear about the circumstances of my life.

God said that in the world I would have tribulation, but He told me to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and will help me to do the same.

God's Word says not to take any thought about the future; therefore, I refuse to worry or be anxious concerning my future. I put my future in God's hands, and I know He will take care of me.

God's Word says that all things work together for good to those who love Him. I recognize that I can't do anything to change my circumstances by worrying, except to make them worse. What satan has meant for evil, God will turn for good. I am free from worry, and I have victory in Jesus' name.

Scripture References:
Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God

I Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Philippians 4:7
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Start The Day With God

This is Prayer taken from God's Word. I shall list the Scripture references following.

This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. God's mercy and grace are new every morning in my life.

I rejoice because I am God's child. I have been filled with His Spirit. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. The Holy Spirit is bigger than any problem, obstacle, or challenge. The Holy Spirit will give me wisdom and discernment regarding every decision I need to make today.

When I acknowledge God through prayer and worship, my steps are ordered and directed of Him. The Lord gives me wisdom and insight concerning all the affairs of my life.

I choose to be a blessing to all those around me.

No matter what happens today, I iknow God will see me through. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and if God is for me then no one can be against me.

I choose to honor God today by the words I speak; I will honor God by the way I act. I will honor God by allowing His love, light, and truth to shine through me.

I am the head and not the tail; I am above and not beneath, I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Christ Jesus. He always causes me to triumph. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Today is going to be a great day!

Scripture References:
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Lamentations 3:22, 23
22 Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

Proverbs 3:6
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Romans 8:31
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Presumption

Psalm 19:13
Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

Presumptuous in the Hebrew is zed, Strongs #2086 which means:
1) arrogant, proud, insolent, presumptuous
a) the arrogant ones (as n coll pl)
b) presumptuous (as adj)

The Collegate Dictionary says this about presumptuous:
Overwhelmingly proud, self confident or venturesome, taking undue liberties, overbold.

In the following verse 14 it tells us:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

This is letting us know how we can avoid presumptuous sin, by examining the meditation of our heart, and filtering it through the Lord to make it acceptable to Him. Renewing our mind to the Word of God will be helping us along our way. "What does God say about this?".

Faith is not presumption. Presumption is not faith.

Authentic faith is founded on the promises of God in His Word; it is not presumptuous. "Presumptuous" ideas about faith lead to attidudinal or behavioral sin; to missing the mark of faith's true meaning.
Presumptuous attitudes are present when, in the name of "faith," a person either::
1. Thinks "faith" is wishful thinking or a fanciful attitude, assuming God should relieve all their discomfort and "jump" to their request; or

2. Rejects any responsibility on their part to offer a devoted heart and the commitment to serve Him regardless of their life condition.

Presumption desires the promise of God without living a life for God and is hypocritical in His sight.

To protect from a presumptuous attitude:
1. Root your faith in what God in Christ has provided in His redemption, not on what you might gain through presumptuous "faith" exercises
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

2. Develop your own personal faith, and do not attempt to live off another's faith (as, for example, Sceva's sons did - (Acts 19:14-16)

3. Walk in a faith, growing in an intimate relationship with the Author and Finisher of our faith, so that you are known as His, and found in Him

Hebrews 12:2)
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 10:27)
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Philippians 3:9)
and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith

In a commentary to this passage, it noted that presumption is fighting against God to dare Him to do His worst. Willful sin - blasphemy. The sentence that is past on it is dreadful, they will be cut off, as a deleberate law breaker.

What came to my mind after reading this was the account in Leviticus 10 when Aarons sons did what they wanted in the temple, it cost them their lives.
Also the account of Ananias, with his wife Sapphira when they lied to the Holy Spirit in Acts 5, it also cost them their lives.

II Peter 2:9,10, tells us:
9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.
12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,
13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you

In Numbers 15:30, 31, we're told about what God thinks about pesumptuous sin.
30 'But the person who does anything presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one brings reproach on the LORD, and he shall be cut off from among his people.
31 Because he has despised the word of the LORD, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt shall be upon him.' "

God HELP US not to be high handed, proud, arrogant puffed up, insolent. Help us not to dispise Your Word. HELP US to meditate on Your Word - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight. Father, it is our desire to live our lives honorably, to please You and to bring every thought captive to the knowledge of Your Word. We LOVE YOU Lord, thank You for hearing the cry of our hearts, in the Name of Jesus.

Coming Out of Trouble

It is important to understand that God knows how to bring you out of trouble. There is nothing God doesn’t know how to handle. Psalms 34 outlines eight steps to follow to come out of trouble.

1. The first thing to do is pray.
Verse four begins, “I sought the Lord.” Your part is to pray and invite Him into your life.

2. You must trust God.“Blessed is the man who trusts in Him” (Psalms 34:8). Put the whole balance of your life, your security, in the Lord. Rely on the character, strength and ability of God to deliver you. Fear and unbelief, which are a lack of trust in God, will hinder or stop you from receiving God’s help.

3. Fear the Lord.
This does not mean to be afraid of Him, but to give Him honor and respect. Take whatever you find in the Word, knowing it is true, and put it into your life. When God speaks, quickly make changes or adjustments.

4. Seek the Lord with all your heart.
Listen to the prompting of the inward witness. The counsel of God will deliver you out of trouble. God will protect you, keeping you safe from injury, harm and destruction. He will preserve you by instructing and teaching you, but you must make the effort to listen and learn. Trusting Him causes His mercy to surround you.

5. Don’t criticize and judge others.
There are two times to pray for a person—when he’s right and when he’s wrong. It is the Lord’s job, not ours, to “bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts” (I Corinthians 4:5). Your part is to “keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit” (Psalms 34:13).

6. Depart from evil.
Psalms 34:14 says, “Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Consider yourself dead to sin and alive unto God. When sin calls your name, don’t respond to it. When God calls your name, be quick to respond.

7. Determine to do good (verse 14).
You are to be like Jesus. Jesus of Nazareth went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). Be busy doing good, praying and ministering to others.

8. Seek peace.
Don’t be the one who brings discord, quarreling, fighting and strife. Instead, be the one who brings peace, calmness and harmony (verse 14).

Receiving God’s power and deliverance is not automatic. Your deliverance is controlled by how you see God, how you treat God, how you listen to Him and how you obey Him. You must come to a new place of faith and trust in God. You will never be able to fathom with your mind the counsel of the Lord. His wise counsel may even appear to us to be foolishness. But He is far smarter than we are. When you seek God, trust Him, hear His counsel and do what He tells you. He will bring you out of trouble.

Father, HELP US to humble ourselves when need be. Help us to listen to Your Word and honor it in our lives. Thank you for showing us HOW to bring ourselves out of any troublesome situation. We need YOU Lord, we need your HELP, your guiding hand, comfort and forgiveness. Help us not only to GET right, but show us how to STAY right. In Jesus' Name.

The Rapture. The Catching Away. The Gathering Together Unto Him.

Every since I was a little child, I've heard that Jesus is coming soon. It's always been true, and none of know WHEN, not even Jesus. Father will allow Jesus to know WHEN it's time to gather His Bride, and bring us to a great marriage supper of the Lamb.

This passage marks an event that some have termed "The Rapture".
Verse 17 goes on to say:
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

It's also been called "The Catching Away."
It's also been called "The Gathering together to Him."

In II Thess. 2 we're told:
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

What exciting times we are living in.

We are living in days where things are happening that none of us on Earth have ever seen before. All around us we hear such things as "The End Times" - "The Last Days." There's danger all around us, and it could cause fear if we allow it.

To insure the safety of our lives and those of our families, we all need to get right and stay right with Jesus.

How do we do that?
John 3:16 tells us:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 3:23 says:
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 6:23 says:
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:8-10
8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Over in Psalm 91 we're told how to dwell safely.

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation."

FIRST He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
and the benefits of that decision bring us PROTECTION that is mentioned in the next 15 verses. WHAT WONDERFUL PROMISES we have here.

God thought of everything.

II Timothy 3:1 tells us:
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come

Even though we're living in strange - perilous times...
peril meaning:
1. exposure to injury, loss, or destruction; grave risk; jeopardy; danger
2. something that causes or may cause injury, loss, or destruction.

....we're shown HOW we can be safe.

Father, THANK YOU for showing us Your Son, Jesus. THANK YOU for HELPING US and showing us how to be safe. Help us to use Your Word to lead us all of our days. We need YOU, Lord. We look forward to the time we can BE WITH YOU, and in the mean time, I ask You to speak to our hearts to show us how to get right and stay right with You. In Jesus' Name.

Hungry and Thirsty?

Haven't we all been invited to either eat or drink something and realize that we're neither hungry or thirsty, and declined the invitation?
When we have an "invitation" to eat and drink from the Lord and His Word, and realize that we're not interested...what have we filled ourselves with? We're full of something if we're not hungry for the Lord.

We've got to come to a place to where we are fed up with how things in our lives are, in order to begin to make changes.

What happens between the time we've asked God for some answers and say "Amen" and the time we can say "There it is!". None of us, will be able to reach "There it is!" unless we are hungry and thirsty after God and His Word.

GOD HELP US!!!

There are seven things that we can put on a check list that will help to remind us how to stay on course and to remain hungry and thirsty after God. They are not original with me...but I have heard them from a minister named Jerry Savelle, of late.

#1. Get into God's presence.
We don't want to be in an arena of doubt, fear and discouragement. We need to surround ourselves with Godly teaching, Praise and Thanksgiving, get good praise and music going into us.

#2. Don't rely on what I already know about God.
Keep learning about Him and His Word. We've got to understand that we cannot live on yesterday or yesteryears food we've had from God. Need FRESH MANNA.

#3. Deepen your relaitonship with God.
We need to become more intimate with God than we have ever been.

#4. Press Into Jesus.
Cast down worry, frustration, doubt, unbelief with the Word of God in your mouth.
Opposition against us, is designed by the devil to discourage us. We cannot afford discouragement while we're waiting for "There it is!". When we're on the brink of a breakthrough in our lives, satan will certainly bring what would appear to be overwhelming circumstance that we've got to be prepared to pull down with God's Word.

#5. Rekindle your desire for God's Word.
Purposefully make it a point to stay in God's Word. It's there that we'll be encouraged - receive instruction, and be motivated by His Mighty Word. It will always point us to victory that He's provided for us through the finished work of Jesus. The thing satan hates more than anything else is one that is in the Word. The worst thing we can do between "Amen" and "There it is!" is listen to the lies of the devil. he will continually try to distract us and keep us from God's Word.

#6. Make sure you keep your life pure.
Discouragement can lead to compromise. If we're not feeding on the Word, staying in His presence we can open the door to sin. Don't open a door to the devil in any way. There's much at stake here, when we're on the brink of victory the devil will do what he can to distract us, and cause us to compromise our lives.

#7. Give Yourself to Prayer
It's hard to get discouraged when you're in communication with God. It's two way communication. Me talking to and also listening to God. We're to keep ourselves encouraged. We're to get our mind off ourselves and our needs, and pray for others.

Father, I ask You to HELP US. Help us not to be so full on everything else around us and give other things the place that is meant for ONLY YOU! Help us to BECOME and STAY Hungry and Thirsty after YOU, In Jesus' Name.

In Remembrance Of Me

I Corinthians 11:25, 26
25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

Different churches make use of communion in different ways, at different times. All the Lord said was that as often as you do it, do it in remembrance of Him.

While growing up I understood that I needed to get my life right with the Lord BEFORE taking communion, as well we should, as Scripture bears that out. But that's not all what this is about.

Taking Communion is not just a ritual that most do once a month, twice a month or even each week.
It's not a ceremonial thing.
It's a LIFE thing.

What we are doing is reminding ourselves of the Body and Blood of Jesus, taking it, the New Covenant that He cut FOR US.

All that is in the provision of that Covenant is OURS.
Do we need healing?
Do we need peace?
Do we need forgiveness?
Do we need our lives in God's order?
Do we need HELP FROM GOD?

Whatever it is that I need, while I'm receiving communion, I call out to God for it.
When Jesus came, shed His Blood and died, was raised from the dead - He bought us salvation. Salvation is not just our ticket out of hell. THANK GOD FOR THAT TOO. But salvation is EVERYTHING we need from God's bosom in THIS life. He thought of it all.

None of us can put one foot in front of the other by ourselves. :)
All the provision that He's made, He also put it in one of His names. El Shaddi, which means the all beasted one. When a baby comes into our arms and a mother nurses that child, that breast milk has everything that child needs.

God has everything that we need in our lives. Often we don't even KNOW what we need.
While we find ourselves close to the Lord, calling out to Him and bearing our heart to Him, His provision is THERE for US ALL, all the time. We can depend upon Him meeting those needs.

In the Gospels we're told to pray God's will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
There's no sin, sickness, disease, lack, torment...etc etc., in heaven. I don't need provision for those things in heaven. I NEED THEM NOW, in this life.

That BLESSED Covenant! How wonderful to be able to call out to God for all it is to us. Often, after praying, I'll reach for communion elements to seal my prayers in His Blood and through the provision of His Covenant.

In Galatians 3:13-14 we're told:
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Jesus took the curse of this life for us. Thank God!

I want to encourage you to reach for the elements of communion often. Enjoy the blessings in the New Covenant Jesus bought for us. Don't allow the power of communion be relegated to a mere ritual. It's powerful. It's lifegiving.

Father, thank You for sending Jesus FOR US. Jesus, thank You for being obedient unto Your own death. Thank YOU for providing everything that we need in THIS LIFE. HELP US to look to YOU the author and finisher of our faith, our GREAT provider and Mighty deliverer. Teach us how to pray, Lord. Help us to understand what this "communion" is all about, and make use of it the way YOU intended for us to. :) Lord, thank You! In Jesus' Name.

Call on ME - I'll Show You GREAT and MIGHTY THINGS

Jeremiah 33:3
'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'

The Word of God says that Hezekiah began to reign when he was 25 and that he reigned as king for 29 years. His father-in-law was Zechariah. Here's a brief account of the mans character......

In II Kings 18:3-7 we're told:
3 And he (Hezekiah) did what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father David had done.
4 He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.
5 He trusted in the LORD God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him.
6 For he held fast to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses.
7 The LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

During Hezekiah's reign, the king of Assyria (Sennacherib) wrote a threatening letter to King Hezekiah. The king of Assyria blasphemed God, let Hezekiah know what his intentions were and that...

18:35
Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?' "

An arrogant cuss, eh? :)

God had sent a message to King Hezekiah by Isaiah, straight away and told him...

II Kings 19:6, 7
6 'Thus says the LORD: "Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me.
7 Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land." ' "

Sennacherib had been a formidable enemy for a very long time, in that region, and his conquests had been known far and wide. He sent a letter to King Hezekiah....

II Kings 19:10-13
10 "Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: 'Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, "Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria."
11 Look! You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by utterly destroying them; and shall you be delivered?
12 Have the gods of the nations delivered those whom my fathers have destroyed, Gozan and Haran and Rezeph, and the people of Eden who were in Telassar?
13 Where [is] the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?' "

When King Hezekiah received this letter...
II Kings 19:14
14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
15 Then Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said: "O LORD God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
16 Incline Your ear, O LORD, and hear; open Your eyes, O LORD, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God.
17 Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands,
18 and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were not gods, but the work of men's hands--wood and stone. Therefore they destroyed them.
19 Now therefore, O LORD our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the LORD God, You alone."

Hezekiah bore his heart to God, calling for His help.

God sent another message to King Hezekiah...
II Kings 19:20
20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard.'

...and part of that message was:

19:32-34
32 "Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria: 'He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it.
33 By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city,' Says the LORD.
34 'For I will defend this city, to save it For My own sake and for My servant David's sake.' "

THEN THE LORD TOOK CARE OF THIS MATTER...and Sennacherib met his demise.

19:35-37
35 And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses--all dead.
36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, returned home, and remained at Nineveh.
37 Now it came to pass, as he was worshiping in the temple of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him down with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Then Esarhaddon his son reigned in his place.

Is the devil breathing down your neck with threatenings that try to overwhelm you?
DO WHAT KING HEZEKIAH DID. Take all those threats, fears to the Lord and spread them out upon His altar. Call upon His Name, Cover yourself with the Blood of His Son, the finished work of Jesus.

Whatever is trying to terrorize us, we need to take some diffinitive action against it all, and not limit the Holy One of Israel. What is impossible with man IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD. It doesn't matter HOW LONG hell has enslaved any of us, what display of his might and strong hold that he's intimidated us with. What we MUST do to overcome any bondage of hell, is to rise up, pour our hearts out before the Lord and ALLOW HIM to come to our defense.

It will do no good to stay on the phone hashing out our troubles from fence post to fence post. It will do us no good to eat it, speak it, drink it and loose sleep over any of it.

The ONLY thing that will do any of us ANY GOOD will be to call out to God.
We're not equipped to handle the devil, his plans or the stress it causes...it will make us sick in body, soul and spirit.

His ear is not deaf and His arm is not short.
Isaiah 59:1
1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.

Isaiah 40:28-31
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Jeremiah 33:3
3 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'

Father, YOU ARE OUR GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD. HELP US to remember to take every threat from hell and lay it at Your altar. Help us to TRUST YOU, that it is not only within Your power to HELP US, but it is YOUR DESIRE to do so. You alone are our Deliverer. In Jesus' Name.

Encourage Yourself In The Lord!!!

Do you remember the account when King David had the conflict with the Amalekites. He and his gang came back from battle and and all their families, wives, children .... everyone had been taken?
It was at that time, when his troops rose up and wanted to stone him because he took them away to war and it cost them their families?

I Samuel 30:6
6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. BUT DAVID STRENGTHENED HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD.7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, "Please bring the ephod here to me." And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.
8 So David inquired of the LORD, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."

They came across an Egyptian that told them he was part of the group that brought destruction to their homes and kidnapped their people. David inquired of him and asked if the young man could take them to the troops that left him behind. The boy said he would IF David would swear to him that he'd niether kill him or deliver him to his master. The deal was struck.

16. And when he had brought him down, there they were, spread out over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil which they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.
17 Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.
18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives.
19 And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.

Every one of us have had the murauders of hell to come to produce a holocaust in our lives. They come for the quest of plunder, to invade, attack, ravage and to pillage for every spoil they can get their hands on.

I want to remind us to get up - to strengthen ourselves in GOD - and to Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all

The devil will try to take us through a valley and keep us looking back at his handiwork, pining away at the defeat we had, to remind us of what HE'S done in our lives....but I SAY NO!!!! I will not be reminded of that.....I will say LOOK WHAT MY MIGHTY GOD HAS DELIVERED ME FROM and put the devils stinking nose in THAT, MY OVERCOMING VICTORY.

I want to encourage you to DECREE what it is that you want for your life.
Job 22:28 says:
You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.

There have been times that I've told my husband that it's his tough luck he's married to me, I know how to pray, and God HEARS AND ANSWERS MY PRAYERS.
I've had to throw off slander from all sides in my life.
I've had to throw off ill spoken words of every kind from all around me.
I've had to disregard what man says about me because all I want to do is to please God.
I've had to tell those bastard devils (and they are bastards, they've left their Creator, their Father, without God) that they're messing with the WRONG WOMAN, because I'm NOT GOING to allow death to creep into the windows of MY HOME!!!

Remember Jeremiah 9:17-21. The king had blown it....the priests had blown it, and they called for the INTERCEEDING WOMEN!!!

vs. 21 says that death had come through their windows, and had entered their palaces, to kill off the children, no longer to be outside, and the young men, no longer on the streets

HELL be DAMNED if he thinks he's going to plunder my life and that of my family!!! MY CHILDREN? - NEVER!!!! NOT THE FRUIT OF MY BODY!!!!

I've arose up to ENCOURAGE MYSELF IN THE LORD and decreed and am decreeing NOW the things that I'm not backing down from....FOREVER!

I'm DECREEING THAT I'M RECOVERING ALL, without fail!
My peace.
My childrens peace.
Every single penny he's stolen from me.
Every bit of sleep he's attempted to steal from me.
Every bit of health and healing that belongs to us all.
Every bit of life that belongs in my home, my husband, myself and my children.
Lost relationships.
Everything that I don't even KNOW that has been stolen, I'm commanding it back into my life.

You get the picture?

While you are walking through your days, and nights, YOU encourage YOURSELF IN GOD!
You DECREE everything that YOU want in your life and that of your family. You remind yourself and the Lord of HIS WORD.
Take the bold stand against all of hell, that has come to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), and don't be moved off of what you KNOW. That devil is defeated from day ONE...and the only place for him/them is UNDER your feet....because GOD has given you power over ALL the power of the devil, through the finished work of Jesus. Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Father, I ask You let the fuel of YOUR WORD encourage us and motivate us into everything that YOU ARE DOING AT THIS TIME IN OUR LIVES. Lord YOU said that we are made OVERCOMERS BY THE BLOOD OF YOUR SON AND THE WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY. I thank You that YOU HELP US to take back everything that hell has stolen from us...that we recover all, and walk in the Overcoming victory that even David did. In the Name of Jesus.
