On Earth As It Is In Heaven

Growing up, I never gave serious thought about this Scripture. It was part of a passage that I had committed to memory, as a child, you know.....

Matthew 6:5-14 speaks about.......

The Model Prayer
“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Many of us committed this short passage to memory as children, right?

As years came and went, I began to SEE the place where Jesus said Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

 This passage:
1- Acknowledges God as our Father, and that He does indeed live in Heaven.

2- To reverence; to honor as sacred, His Name.
3- His Kingdom come and His will to be done on earth as in Heaven.
4- Acknowledging that our daily food comes from Him.
5-  forgiveness - forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
6-  Temptation - a plea not to let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
7-  Acknowledging His reign, and His power, and His glory -- to the ages.

There is no lack in Heaven.

There's no hate in Heaven.
There's no racism in Heaven.
There's no suspicion in Heaven.
There's no anger in Heaven.
There's no   jealousy.
There's no tears in Heaven.

We're to be praying for HIS WILL that is already in Heaven to be brought to us, here and now.
We can as His Own Children, and His Kings and Priests here on Earth.  He knew we needed to be praying these things, didn't He?  Then gave us express instructions to do so.  Thank GOD.

Father, HELP US to remember this instruction, You gave it to us to HELP us.  Then HELP us to DO IT.  In Jesus' Name.

Fear he IS a liar

Recently, I was faced with some concerns that seemed overwhelming, and appeared as a tsunami of fear overtaking me, as it was cresting overhead, looming above me,  I gathered my wits and asked the Lord what I was to do.  Immediately He approached me FACE TO FACE with my face cupped in his hands, showing and telling me, "Sharon, you are in My hands."   Wow,  I told Him that I had indeed placed myself in His hands and was NOT going to do anything different, STAYING RIGHT THERE.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.
I John 4:18

LOVE came and swallowed up that fear.  That tsunami just went up in smoke.
There's a song that has been brought to my attention a few weeks ago, by a man named Zach Williams, entitled Fear Is A Liar.
"Fear Is A Liar"

When he told you you're not good enough
When he told you you're not right
When he told you you're not strong enough
To put up a good fight
When he told you you're not worthy
When he told you you're not loved
When he told you you're not beautiful
That you'll never be enough

Fear he is a liar
He will take your breath
Stop you in your steps
Fear he is a liar
He will rob your rest
Steal your happiness
Cast your fear in the fire
Cause fear he is a liar

When he told you were troubled
You'll forever be alone
When he told you you should run away
You'll never find a home
When he told you you were dirty
And you should be ashamed
When he told you you could be the one
That grace could never change

Fear he is a liar
He will take your breath
Stop you in your steps
Fear he is a liar
He will rob your rest
Steal your happiness
Cast your fear in the fire
Cause fear he is a liar

Let Your fire fall and cast out all my fears
Let Your fire fall Your love is all I feel

Fear he is a liar
He will take your breath
Stop you in your steps
Fear he is a liar
He will rob your rest
Steal your happiness
Cast your fear in the fire
Cause fear he is a liar
Look it up on you tube, you'll be blessed by it.
satan is a master of disguise.  (and no,  that is NOT a typo, I don't dignify satan by even capitalizing his name, he's not deserving of it.)  There has been thousands of years that he has had to perfect his game, and knows human very well.  Knowing which buttons to push with each of us.  We DO, each of us, have a guardian angel, at least one, but minions of hell have been onlookers into our lives since birth also.  he's a low down son of a gun and operates without mercy.  After all, the Word describes him as a stealer, killer and destroyer, and has always lived up to his name.  (John 10:10
Proverbs 4:20-23 tells us:
My child, pay attention to My Words.
Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them.
Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them,
and healing to their whole body. Guard your heart above all else,

for it determines the course of your life.

God knew what we needed from long ago.

Philippians 4:8 says:
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

We are to renew our mind to the God's Word.
Romans 12:1,2
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.  Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Father knows that satan will sucker punch us every opportunity he has, and his ultimate goal is is to knock us out for the count, with no hope of recovery, and our one and only weapon of mass destruction, is God's Word.  While we follow the instructions of His Word, to make it first place, guard our hearts, take care of what we are thinking and renew our minds we are in a safe place, safely kept.

So the next time that satan approaches you with fear of any kind, any deal that is too good to be true, setting up a trap for you, reach for your trusty SWORD, God's Word, USE IT, and set your gaze upon Jesus.......
  Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

And they overcame him (satan) by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB and by the WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Revelation 12:11

Meet Chris

This sheep had gone astray and lived in the wild for about seven years. Some of the locals, in Australia, knew that if he was left unattended for much longer, he would go blind and die. Only GOD knows how he stayed alive all those years, by himself.  They are not creatures that are equipped to protect themselves against predators.

When Chris was caught and brought in, he was very frightened and did not want to be with or touched by anybody.  The shearers found it necessary to sedate him, in order to help him.  It took four men to do the job in about 45 minutes.  It was necessary for them to shear in two layers to do the job well.  The wool weighed in at about 80 lbs., and I believe it set a record.

This is Chris Before

 This is Chris After

Chris was weighed down, carrying the burden of that wool.
Donkeys are burden bearers, not sheep.  I've never seen a sheep or a heard of sheep loaded down to the hilt to carry things, anything, but I have seen donkeys and horses carrying loads on their backs.

If Chris had been with his shepherd, he would have been well taken care of, protected from the elements and predators AND sheared on a regular basis.

This brings to mind -
Psalm 119:176 - I have gone astray like a lost sheep;
Seek Your servant,
For I do not forget Your commandments.

Isaiah 53:6  -  All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way

Recently, at our fellowship, the Lord spoke with us and said:
You tell My people they need to be sheared.  They have got to get sheared or they cannot get cleaned up.

You know, every one of us think that we have a better idea than God.  That's why we take things on in our lives that we're ill equipped for, instead of giving them to Him.  Before we know it, because we have not been quick to defer to the Lord, or GIVE to Him what ONLY He can take care of, we will find ourselves burdened down, and we are not "burden carriers."

I would like you, to invite the Lord to shear you.  Just plain and simple.  Ask Him to HELP you because you need Him.  Then watch what He will do for you.  We are, after all, the sheep of His pasture.

 Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Psalm 100:3

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
Psalm 23

THIS IS A PSALM FOR THE LIVING

THE LOVE OF SEXUAL SIN IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

It doesn't matter if it's lesbian sex, gay sex, bi-sex, trans-sex, and heterosexual sex-if it's not being done in covenant as defined by God between a man and woman in a marriage covenant then it's SIN and must be repented of.

As a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I will not only NOT marry homosexuals, but I will also NOT marry heterosexuals who are having sex before marriage. I will also NOT marry anyone unless you come to 2 months worth of pre-marital counseling with me where we will dig up the past, present, and future.

Why are so many of our “Christian” weddings an absolute joke these days? We want to have them in the house of God performed by a man or woman of God yet nothing of God is taking place between the couple getting married? This is absolute hypocrisy and a mockery of the things of God! What kind of “blessing” are ministers actually pronouncing over these “unions”? Not a godly one.
Sexual immorality is at the top of almost every list of sins in the New Testament and it is emphasized in the book of Revelation as one of Satan's primary weapons against the Church in the end times. (Revs 2:20; 9:21; 14:8; 17:1-4)

If a couple is continually and habitually engaging in sexual immorality and calling themselves born again believers, they have been deceived. (Romans 6)

Lifting our hands up on Sunday morning and pulling our pants down on Friday night is not okay. You cannot be a practicing gay and Christian just as much as you can't be a Christian and having habitual and continual intercourse with the opposite sex. Sin is sin! Let's repent and get right with God. We desperately need some preachers, some moms and dads, and some real born again believers who are going to take a stand for truth and stop fearing the opinions of men. Your silence is creating this deception.

Oh how we love the gospel in America until it deals with our sexual preferences and lifestyle. It’s time to shut down our hypocrisy in the Church and repent of our compromise. Every time we water down the gospel of Jesus Christ to keep everyone happy, we strip it of its true power to heal, deliver, and set free.

Committed to truth, holiness, and repentance,
--Jeremiah Johnson

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that NO FORNICATOR, UNCLEAN PERSON, NOR COVETOUS MAN, WHO IS AN IDOLATER, HAS ANY INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST AND GOD. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.
Ephesians 5:1-7

The Mind Under the Blood Of Jesus

Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.
 Proverbs 16:11
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 12:2

The mind has been likened to the room of a house where visitors are entertained. All visitors to one's three-fold being come in through the mind. They first enter the mind, then drop down into the spirit and get root, then possess the whole man.

Thoughts are bold and daring things, and strong and persistent. Like armed men they force themselves into the mind. They come enticingly. They come insinuatingly. They come threateningly. They come in a thousand ways. They come singly; they come in droves. Some wait at the door of the mind and push and crowd to get in while the room is full. They keep up a din and chatter and strain the nerves and chill the heart. Fear dashes into the mind and captures us and holds us fast. A thought knocked at the door of the mind. It is looked at a while, then possesses the whole being and and leads to sin and shame.

Anxiety and nervousness appear and drive off the rest and keep the sleepless all night for nothing.

Doubt, as full of death as hell itself, is let in and consulted with, and blows out every light and fills the room with darkness.

Trouble, many-faced, many-handed, big and squatty, will fill the mind and stay all day, and return in the morning by the time you open your eyes.

Cares, weighing a thousand pounds each, come to unload in the room.

Old Self, under God's judgment, and refusing to die, wants to stay on hand all the time with a ready sword of protection and having pitying attendants on hand with fans and camphor bottles in case it is hit or wounded or knocked down. It wants the best chair in the mind and the most attention; notwithstanding, it is the most unwholesome visitor on hand. It has been deposed of God and is under His everlasting curse, and yet wants to lurk around all the time. And friends and foes and husbands and wives and children, and tomorrow, and houses and lands, and the work on hand of whatever nature, and what was and what is and what is to be, and this and that and the other, real and imaginary, and demon impressions and suggestions, and the thoughts of friends and foes toward you, coming to you in dreams and while awake as swift messengers---all these things in the different shapes and sizes and sounds will harass and possess and occupy and claim all the attention of the mind possible, if allowed.

Thousands are in the grave and in institutions, and other thousands are in physical torments and sickness because of the mind thus occupied. And many honest souls are craving deliverance. How is it found? These visitors cannot be humanly driven off. They are too many and too strong and too smart for us. They have no shame nor feeling. Kick them out and they are right back. Throw them out and they get right up and come in again. Lock the door and they every one have a master key. But thank God there is a way of deliverance from these tormenting thoughts, spirits, things. And that way is through the precious BLOOD OF THE LAMB OF GOD, once slain..

When my eyes opened from sleep these thoughts of past, present and future trouble were on hand to torment me. They had made an early start. They would come trooping in. I was helpless. I knew not what to do with them. Then the Lord showed me that door in Egypt with the blood sprinkled over and around it (Exodus 12:21-24), into which no evil, tormenting spirit could come and that I was just simply to be willing to commit my mind unto Him in helplessness and then to claim and believe and see the Blood of Christ over and around it, just like that door, that room in Egypt. It was a new and blessed thought to me. I did so. They came again and I said, "the Blood is over the door. The world is dead to me and I am dead to the world. You cannot enter under the Blood.", They backed off. Again and again they would come, but I simply pointed to the Blood over the door; the mind. I thought on the Blood whenever they came; and soon their power was gone and they eased their visitations; my torments ceased; my mind had rest, as I committed all to God and thought on the Blood. The spotless Lamb of God has shed it's most precious blood for you, to cleanse from sin and sickness, but in mind from torments and distractions as well. "The Blood is your one safety,

Not a death-dealing troubling, tormenting, fearful visitor could enter the room that night in Egypt where the blood was on the door. And dear, tormented soul, a thousand-fold more real and powerful than the blood of that little lamb is the precious Blood of the Lamb of God. See by faith His Blood sprinkled over the mind, the door to your being, and when these things appear and knock for attention, throw up your hands, helpless soul, and point them to the Blood on the door. By faith put death between them and you. Consent to your death in that Blood and take your place definitely and continually under its protection. Say to thoughts and all hindering visitors to the mind's distraction from God and peace, "I am dead to you and you are dead to me." Say it in faith; say it over and over; say it persistently, believe that the Blood is on the door of your mind and that it is protecting you as God said it would.

Our Constitution - Call It Out Of Danger!

Do not remove the ancient landmark
Which your fathers have set.
Proverbs 22:28

A friend of mine and I had a brief discussion about our Constitution, and how it seems to be in danger according to the "news" outlets in our country.

Afterwards, while I was praying, the Lord brought this Scripture to me.

Do not remove the ancient landmark
Which your fathers have set.
Proverbs 22:28

With that in mind (because this country was GOD'S IDEA), we can use this Scripture along with PLEADING THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER that document.
Our founding fathers established this Landmark, the Constitution, FOR US, by the direction of Father God.  It IS a LANDMARK that should not be removed.

We can put our Shield of Faith (Ephesians 6:16) around IT, making the declaration that every effort to bypass, destroy, or cause any part of it to be of no effect in this nation, I call those efforts destroyed, in Jesus' Name, and all those with intent to bring destruction to this nation, I call their schemes back upon their own heads, as in Haman vs. Mordecai (in the Book of Esther).

I remember a testimony I heard a long time ago, about how Hitler had designs on Switzerland to do his thing there.  Intercessors were in place in that country, calling upon the Blood of Jesus over every border of their nation. It was no fluke that Hitler was unable to enter that country, they went right up to the border and turned around.

So,
In the Name of Jesus, I thank GOD that the Landmarks that God has established for this nation WILL NOT be removed, destroyed, or molested in any way.  Just like we apply the Blood over ourselves and families, our communities, our nation, our President, etc....I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER OUR CONSTITUTION.

I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS over it, and everything that it has stood for in the history of this nation, and what it is intended to do.  I put my Shield of Faith around it.  God, You said in Your Word that the fiery arrows that satan would send, every one of them would be quenched by our Shield of Faith.  I thank you for bringing a wall of protection around our Constitution.  I praise and thank YOU for having Your best interests in mind for our country.
You told us in... Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Do I have agreement?

Who Can Separate You?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:35

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Have you ever noticed that:
-tribulation is a WHO?
-distress is a WHO?
-famine is a WHO?
-nakedness is a WHO?
-peril is a WHO?
-the sword is a WHO?
WHO do you think the WHO is?
Most importantly...What does the Word of God say about that WHO?

 Romans 8:32-39 tells us:
God’s Everlasting Love
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God told us in John 10:10:
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The thief is satan, and we can always earmark his work by seeing if it involves killing, stealing and destroying of any kind.  "He is a created thing."

That belongs under our feet.

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Psalm 91:13 -  You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

Paul told us in II Corinthians 10:3-6
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Matthew 16:19 tells us:
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Luke 11:2 says:
So He said to them, “When you pray, say:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

I am thankful that Paul wrote to the Ehesians in 1:15-23

Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding[c] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

The Weapons of our spiritual warfare
Ephesians 6:12-18
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

So
-after God raised Jesus from the dead He gave Him mighty power.
-that power is said to be to those who "believe" - our inheritance, as His saints.
-that power is far above all principality and power and might and dominion....speaking of the demonic.
-in Luke we are told we are given authority over ALL the power of the enemy (satan).
-we are not fighting against flesh and blood so our weapons are not carnal but are MIGHTY in God for pulling down strongholds, and casting down every argument that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God's Word.
-in Luke we're told to pray that His kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven.
--is the Who, famine, in Heaven?
-- is the Who, nakedness, in Heaven?
-- is the Who, peril, in Heaven?
-- is the Who, tribulation, in Heaven?
-- is the Who, distress, in Heaven?
-- is the Who, the sword, in Heaven?

We must remember that everything that is stealing, killing or destroying our lives, is authored by the "thief" - satan.

We MUST know, as part of the Body of Christ, what Jesus bought for us, what our inheritance is.

We MUST know, and be confident in the weapons we have, because we're not fighting flesh and blood, but the demonic, and that those weapons are powerful, and able to put and keep satan under our feet.
We MUST know what our spiritual armor is to use. (Ephesians 6:13-18)

We MUST know that God has told us that when we pray His Word, It goes out to accomplish what it was sent to, and will not return Void. (Isaiah 55:11

We MUST know, that THIS is the confidence we have when we pray the will of God that He listens to and goes about to perform what we have petitioned Him for.  His Word IS HIS WILL, His last will and testament to all His Believers. (I John 5:14, 15)

We MUST also remember that greater is He that is in us, as His Believers, than he that is in the world (satan)  (I John 4:4)

We MUST remember that you and I are made OVERCOMERS by the BLOOD of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.  (Revelation 12:11

I want YOU to know that Nothing that satan can do, or try to do, can ever separate you or I from the LOVE OF GOD.

And if we have any sin in our lives, we're to confess it to Him and He's faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (I John 1:9)

That puts us into a position to do the following -----.

All that is left is to -
.....submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

satan would have everyone of us to believe that this is all a bunch of hogwash...because he knows that when any one of us lays aside God's Word, we are disarmed.  That's all he's after DISARMAMENT.

Matthew 21:22 - “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
Ephesians 6:13 -  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Isaiah 54:17 -  No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,"
Says the LORD.

Do you have a WHO threatening you?

The Lord is [uncompromisingly] righteous; He has cut asunder the thick cords by which the wicked [enslaved us].

SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.  And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
I Corinthians 6:9-11

“Such Were Some of You” (A Documentary) was inspired by the passage in 1st Corinthians 6:11 that declares that in Jesus’ day there was a population who had been so transformed by their relationship with Him that they were no longer “same-sex attracted” or at the very least, actively homosexual. They had found such a measure of healing from the brokenness and strongholds associated with what we now call homosexuality that they no longer considered themselves homosexual, nor did they act in that way. “Such Were Some of You” features interviews with a “cloud of present-day witnesses” who testify to the same life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. They describe the development of their same-sex attractions, what the gay lifestyle was like, what their conversion process was like, and the various ways that Jesus has brought healing to their broken places. “Such Were Some of You” lays out the facts about healing homosexual confusion and rejoices in the reality that Jesus Christ can heal anyone from anything while providing grace for the journey.

TWO THINGS

About 27 years ago, one of our sons was going through a three year protocol of chemo. He was five years old at the time.  His primary care giver, a pediatric ecologist, had his practice about 4 hours from our home.  We made trips VERY often, for a great many different treatments and frequent hospital stays.

Before leaving on the trip one particular day, he asked if a couple of his siblings could make the trip with him.  It was a long arduous trip, and was difficult for him, and he wanted company.  So a couple of his siblings were traveling with us that day.  On the way home, as usual, we stopped at a town that had some very nice parks, for him to play in and unwind from the events of the day.  His brother and sister, were ready to have a very good time together, with him.

While I was parking my van to let them out, he piped up and said, "Mama, do you know that there are no beds in heaven?"  I turned quickly to look at him and asked him why he said that?  The ears of my heart "heard" what I heard.

As a child that spent much, MUCH of his time in bed, both at home and in hospitals... the thought of Heaven not having any beds intrigued him.

I followed him around the park asking him questions about the "dream" he had. All the way, home, the next 4 plus hours on the road, I continued to ask him what all he saw in this "dream."  The boy saw things he did not know about in the natural, and had no idea what the Word of God had to say about them either. As he recounted the trip and all that he saw, both in Heaven and hell, I asked him (now mind you he was about 5 years old) if Jesus gave him any instructions. Without missing a beat, he raised his hand and showed me two fingers and said, "Yes, He told me two things to do."

So, here I was getting my pencil and pad of paper, ready to take down those instructions......and then he told me Jesus said, "Help one another, and don't choose paths that will lead you to hell."
Well, the entire "story" was more than he understood it to be, for sure, his trip to Heaven and hell, all he did and saw and heard and smelled....etc. etc. or the angels that escorted him, John and Caribius.  The child did not have the understanding from God's Word about it, to make him understand that it was not a "dream" but a "visit."
It was all very interesting, but what he told us about the instructions, those two instructions....it just about took my breath away.  As simple as that. Isn't that how Jesus lived the entire time he lived on earth.  Helping everyone that needed it and letting them know not to make decisions that would take them to a devil's hell?
"Help one another, and don't choose paths that will lead you to hell."
Did you "hear" it?

PRAYING THROUGH

“Praying through" is a term coined by the early Pentecostals. To some it meant simply staying on your knees until you were assured you had an answer from God. To others it meant continually coming back to the Lord until you had the answer in hand. (This was also called "persevering in prayer.")

As a young boy in those early camp meetings, I heard people testify, "I'm going to lay hold of the horns of the altar and I won't let go until God answers!" Yet I don't believe that is the truest meaning of "praying through."

You can be shut in with the Lord, delighting in His presence. You can spend quality hours, even days, with Him, glorying in sweet communion. You can have all your needs met and your heart can be totally satisfied. His presence can heal you, lift you, empower you and strengthen you.
But what happens when you leave that hallowed place of intimate communion? You may rise up from your knees only to go back to a crushing situation that has not changed. You can see the devil waiting there for you, ready to throw the same problems and emptiness at you. I ask you: What good is it to get the glory on the mountain if it won't see you through your battle?

I believe "praying through" means simply this: The strength, power and encouragement you receive from the Lord while shut in with Him must see you through the trials ahead. The victory you get in the secret closet has to give you victory on the battlefield.

What exactly do you get from your time of prayer if not something that can see you through the battle? "Praying through" means waiting for the total completion of your prayer. Many Christians see only half-answered prayers because they do not allow what they received from the Lord in prayer to carry them through their trial.

Beloved, prayer is not finished—it is not "completed prayer"—until it sees you through to the other side of your trial. We have not "prayed it through" until we have "lived it through" our trials by the strength we received in God's presence.

Destroying the Work of Hell

While I was waking up this morning, I saw myself busy with an axe going to town on a root of a tree, tearing it up.

Have been doing warfare lately, ripping up everything that is not suppose to be in our lives, that of our family, of our fellowship, of our community, of our country…..HELL BE DAMNED if he thinks he’s going to bring death and destruction while we are on watch…. right?

A long time ago, God told us while we were in prayer all night, “There are giants in the land…I say that there are giants in the land, and you’re to call them into the camp and destroy them.” Well, I don’t only want to destroy them, I want every root, stalk, leaf, fruit and seed that they have produced ...... destroyed, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember in Nehemiah where we were told that he and the gang were working to rebuild the wall – they were so intent on getting the job done, without the hindrance and destruction of their enemies – they worked with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. Well, I think it’s a good idea to have a sword in one hand and an axe in the other, destroying the work of the devil and every root he’s left behind, IN JESUS’ NAME.

Joel 2:15-18
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Remember when the man brought his epileptic son to the disciples to have the devil cast out of him? When Jesus came back, the dad came to Him saying that his son didn’t receive HELP from the boys. Jesus rebuked the spirit and it had to leave the boy. THE BOY GOT DELIVERANCE. The disciples asked Jesus privately why they could not do the same, because they too had been ministering to the people, at that time, and were accustomed to doing the same....the devil had a "stronghold" - and Jesus' response was:"This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." Jesus led a “fasted” life, whatever that was between He and Father.

Do you need a BREAKTHROUGH and nothing has budged, then it’s time to put some fasting (however many meals – days is between you and God) to our prayers and let God MOVE on our behalf. Make use of not only our sword of the Spirit (the Word of God), in one hand, but also an axe in the other, to destroy the root of every work of hell, in Jesus’ Name.

More Than A Ticket Out of Hell

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:4, 5

In this passage Isaiah was speaking prophetically about all that Jesus would be doing for us from the cross.

The six thing God knew would need to be laid upon Jesus, because we, as humans, do not have the capacity to deal with them with our own flesh hands.

1) Griefs
2) Sorrows
3) Transgressions (individual acts of sin)
4) Iniquity (The state of being without God - Godless)
5) Peace
6) Healing

The same sacrifice Jesus made with all the beatings and crucifixion and being raised from the dead for our salvation, bought us deliverance of all the above....and bought us His peace.

Actually Romans 10:13 tells us:
"for whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

The word "saved" is from the Greek word "sozo"
"sozo" means:
- healed
- safe from suffering
- kept safe
- delivered
- rescued
- taken out of destruction, danger and peril.
- restored health

Being saved is not just our ticket out of a devils hell...it's all the above.
Everything that God knew we needed.
Jesus took care of it all at one time.  While He was hanging on the cross, He said, "It is finished."
John 19:30 - So when Jesus had received the sour wine He said, it is finished, bowing His head He gave up His spirit.

Jesus knew full well all He was dying for, and was purchasing for us.
ALL OF IT.
Not just getting Fathers family back, but everything humanity needs.

Remember when Jesus was teaching the boys how to pray?
Luke 11:2-4
So He said to them, "When you pray, say:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one."

Is there grief and sorrow in Heaven?
Is there sickness and disease in Heaven?
Is there any lack of peace in Heaven?
Is there iniquity and transgressions in Heaven?

We won't need relief from these things in Heaven.....we need them NOW.

No matter how much we may try, we cannot humanly relieve ourselves of any of these things.
Jesus paid the same price for them all, at the same time He bought our ticket out of hell, and I receive them all the same way I receive "salvation."
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that God raised Him from the dead, confessed it to Him, myself and to all the hosts of hell, and was ushered into God's family, making Him my LIFE.....not fitting Him into my life.

Whenever I see a promise in God's Word for His people.....I do the same thing that I did when I turned my life over to God.  It's really that simple.  He made it simple enough for a child to believe, didn't He?  Only Believe.

Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
Mark 9:23

"Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"
Mark 9:24
