JESUS ALREADY DID IT!

This is a prayer taken from Scripture, and following this confession of God's Word, are the Scripture references that it's been taken from.

Hebrews 4:12 tells us - For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Thank God for the living, powerful Word/Sword He's left for us.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Matthrew 18:17 declares that Jesus Himself bore my sicknesses and diseases. and since He already bore them, I don't have to. He was made sick so that I might be made well. He was beaten and bruised for me. He was my substitute, and He became sick so I wouldn't have to.
Isaiah 53:5 says by His stripes I was healed. But that is past tense. If I was healed, then that means that healing is already mine today. All I have to do is receive it. Jesus already did it for me. It's already done. I don't have to get my healing; it was a gift from my Lord and Savior. Jesus did it for me. He was bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement of my peace was on Him, and by His stripes I am healed.
My healing was bought and paid for two thousand years ago. I am not sick and trying to get healed. I am already healed, and sickness is trying to take hold in my body. But I won't let it! I boldly proclaim that Jesus already did it! therefore I am healed! Sickness has no right to stay in my body. I am healed, healthy, and whole because of the finished work of Jesus, IN THE NAME of Jesus.
Scripture References:
Isaiah 53:4, 5
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Psalm 103:2-4
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies
II Corinthians 5:21
21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Overcoming Worry
The following is a prayer taken from Scripture. Following are the Scripture References. If you have issues with worry....take these Scriptures and make use of them just as faithful as you would a prescription of medicine, and watch God's Word build faith in you and work in your life.
Then when you see God working in your life, and His Word doing it's work for you, don't forget to be thankful and give Him Glory for it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jesus said in His Word to not worry or have any anxiety about anything. He said to not take any thought or be concerned about any circumstance in my life. I cast my care, concern, and worry on the Lord.

I refuse to worry or be fearful. I put my trust and confidence in God. God will take care of me, because I know He loves me. I thank God for His presence and peace in my life. Jesus said not to let my heart be troubled or afraid, but to keep my mind focused on Him, knowing He will never leave me or forsake me.

God's Word says that the afflictions of the righteous are many but He will deliver them out of them all. I will keep looking to God and not worry or be in fear about the circumstances of my life.

God said that in the world I would have tribulation, but He told me to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and will help me to do the same.

God's Word says not to take any thought about the future; therefore, I refuse to worry or be anxious concerning my future. I put my future in God's hands, and I know He will take care of me.

God's Word says that all things work together for good to those who love Him. I recognize that I can't do anything to change my circumstances by worrying, except to make them worse. What satan has meant for evil, God will turn for good. I am free from worry, and I have victory in Jesus' name.

Scripture References:
Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God

I Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Philippians 4:7
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Start The Day With God

This is Prayer taken from God's Word. I shall list the Scripture references following.

This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. God's mercy and grace are new every morning in my life.

I rejoice because I am God's child. I have been filled with His Spirit. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. The Holy Spirit is bigger than any problem, obstacle, or challenge. The Holy Spirit will give me wisdom and discernment regarding every decision I need to make today.

When I acknowledge God through prayer and worship, my steps are ordered and directed of Him. The Lord gives me wisdom and insight concerning all the affairs of my life.

I choose to be a blessing to all those around me.

No matter what happens today, I iknow God will see me through. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and if God is for me then no one can be against me.

I choose to honor God today by the words I speak; I will honor God by the way I act. I will honor God by allowing His love, light, and truth to shine through me.

I am the head and not the tail; I am above and not beneath, I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Christ Jesus. He always causes me to triumph. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Today is going to be a great day!

Scripture References:
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Lamentations 3:22, 23
22 Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

Proverbs 3:6
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Romans 8:31
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Presumption

Psalm 19:13
Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

Presumptuous in the Hebrew is zed, Strongs #2086 which means:
1) arrogant, proud, insolent, presumptuous
a) the arrogant ones (as n coll pl)
b) presumptuous (as adj)

The Collegate Dictionary says this about presumptuous:
Overwhelmingly proud, self confident or venturesome, taking undue liberties, overbold.

In the following verse 14 it tells us:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

This is letting us know how we can avoid presumptuous sin, by examining the meditation of our heart, and filtering it through the Lord to make it acceptable to Him. Renewing our mind to the Word of God will be helping us along our way. "What does God say about this?".

Faith is not presumption. Presumption is not faith.

Authentic faith is founded on the promises of God in His Word; it is not presumptuous. "Presumptuous" ideas about faith lead to attidudinal or behavioral sin; to missing the mark of faith's true meaning.
Presumptuous attitudes are present when, in the name of "faith," a person either::
1. Thinks "faith" is wishful thinking or a fanciful attitude, assuming God should relieve all their discomfort and "jump" to their request; or

2. Rejects any responsibility on their part to offer a devoted heart and the commitment to serve Him regardless of their life condition.

Presumption desires the promise of God without living a life for God and is hypocritical in His sight.

To protect from a presumptuous attitude:
1. Root your faith in what God in Christ has provided in His redemption, not on what you might gain through presumptuous "faith" exercises
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

2. Develop your own personal faith, and do not attempt to live off another's faith (as, for example, Sceva's sons did - (Acts 19:14-16)

3. Walk in a faith, growing in an intimate relationship with the Author and Finisher of our faith, so that you are known as His, and found in Him

Hebrews 12:2)
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 10:27)
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Philippians 3:9)
and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith

In a commentary to this passage, it noted that presumption is fighting against God to dare Him to do His worst. Willful sin - blasphemy. The sentence that is past on it is dreadful, they will be cut off, as a deleberate law breaker.

What came to my mind after reading this was the account in Leviticus 10 when Aarons sons did what they wanted in the temple, it cost them their lives.
Also the account of Ananias, with his wife Sapphira when they lied to the Holy Spirit in Acts 5, it also cost them their lives.

II Peter 2:9,10, tells us:
9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.
12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,
13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you

In Numbers 15:30, 31, we're told about what God thinks about pesumptuous sin.
30 'But the person who does anything presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one brings reproach on the LORD, and he shall be cut off from among his people.
31 Because he has despised the word of the LORD, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt shall be upon him.' "

God HELP US not to be high handed, proud, arrogant puffed up, insolent. Help us not to dispise Your Word. HELP US to meditate on Your Word - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight. Father, it is our desire to live our lives honorably, to please You and to bring every thought captive to the knowledge of Your Word. We LOVE YOU Lord, thank You for hearing the cry of our hearts, in the Name of Jesus.

Coming Out of Trouble

It is important to understand that God knows how to bring you out of trouble. There is nothing God doesn’t know how to handle. Psalms 34 outlines eight steps to follow to come out of trouble.

1. The first thing to do is pray.
Verse four begins, “I sought the Lord.” Your part is to pray and invite Him into your life.

2. You must trust God.“Blessed is the man who trusts in Him” (Psalms 34:8). Put the whole balance of your life, your security, in the Lord. Rely on the character, strength and ability of God to deliver you. Fear and unbelief, which are a lack of trust in God, will hinder or stop you from receiving God’s help.

3. Fear the Lord.
This does not mean to be afraid of Him, but to give Him honor and respect. Take whatever you find in the Word, knowing it is true, and put it into your life. When God speaks, quickly make changes or adjustments.

4. Seek the Lord with all your heart.
Listen to the prompting of the inward witness. The counsel of God will deliver you out of trouble. God will protect you, keeping you safe from injury, harm and destruction. He will preserve you by instructing and teaching you, but you must make the effort to listen and learn. Trusting Him causes His mercy to surround you.

5. Don’t criticize and judge others.
There are two times to pray for a person—when he’s right and when he’s wrong. It is the Lord’s job, not ours, to “bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts” (I Corinthians 4:5). Your part is to “keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit” (Psalms 34:13).

6. Depart from evil.
Psalms 34:14 says, “Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Consider yourself dead to sin and alive unto God. When sin calls your name, don’t respond to it. When God calls your name, be quick to respond.

7. Determine to do good (verse 14).
You are to be like Jesus. Jesus of Nazareth went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). Be busy doing good, praying and ministering to others.

8. Seek peace.
Don’t be the one who brings discord, quarreling, fighting and strife. Instead, be the one who brings peace, calmness and harmony (verse 14).

Receiving God’s power and deliverance is not automatic. Your deliverance is controlled by how you see God, how you treat God, how you listen to Him and how you obey Him. You must come to a new place of faith and trust in God. You will never be able to fathom with your mind the counsel of the Lord. His wise counsel may even appear to us to be foolishness. But He is far smarter than we are. When you seek God, trust Him, hear His counsel and do what He tells you. He will bring you out of trouble.

Father, HELP US to humble ourselves when need be. Help us to listen to Your Word and honor it in our lives. Thank you for showing us HOW to bring ourselves out of any troublesome situation. We need YOU Lord, we need your HELP, your guiding hand, comfort and forgiveness. Help us not only to GET right, but show us how to STAY right. In Jesus' Name.
